"Someone's been waiting to meet you," Carlisle smiled at the newborn Bella. She look astonishing: Her pale skin looked absolutely fresh, with no wrinkles. Her wavy, brown hair had no strand out of place, but what was most astonishing were her eyes. They were a luminous crimson. 'Much like mine,' I thought to myself. I looked up at my mom in wonder. I had already met my father, the man named Edward. He loved Renesmee a ton - but he didn't seem to look at me the same way for some reason. Maybe he just didn't show it that well. "Rose," Edward said, and my aunt Rose stepped forth with little Renesmee.  Renesmee smiled at our mom, who was now cradling her with a true mother's love. She slowly raised her hand to Bella's cheek, and Bella's eyes lit up in wonder. "What was that?" Bella asked, looking up at Edward. "She showed you the first memory she has of you," Edward, responded, grinning. Just as Bella was about to ask how, Esme stepped forward. "Bella, someone else would like to meet you as well," She smiled, quietly. Bella held on to Renesmee for a split second, studying me as Esme held me up to her. Then, she carefully set Renesmee down in Edward's arms, and took a step forward to Esme. "This is Renesmee's twin, uh, right?" Bella said, sounding a little unsure and confused at the same time. Esme nodded. I heard Rose snort from across the room, amused. "Well, they, don't look anything alike. Or she doesn't look like me or Edward," She said, biting her lip. "Well, still, doesn't she look beautiful?" Esme asked, a small furrow of her brow expressing some concern. "Oh, no! Of course she looks beautiful, I'm just a little confused," Bella stated. Esme smiled. "Would you like to hold her-" Esme started, but Edward rather rudely cut her off. "Bella, I need to have a word with you, in private," He muttered, rather bitterly. Bella nodded her head, and they both dashed off to somewhere private. I raised my head to look up at Esme, and she looked shocked, confused, and angered. "Carlisle, I don't understand! She's a mother to this baby, what does it matter if they look nothing alike?!" Esme stated, angered. "Edward had talked to me..... he said he had some, er, concerns," Carlisle sighed, not making eye contact with his beloved wife. Esme gasped in shock. "Well, then, Alice dear," Esme sighed, holding out the baby (me) to a startled looking  Alice. "Would you not mind holding little Maris?" Esme smiled. Jasper gave Alice that  "don't do it" look, and Alice bit her lip.  "Yeah, I guess," She sighed, not wanting to hurt Esme. Esme beamed, and handed me carefully over to Alice. Alice was stiff, not saying anything, and not making eye contact with my dark crimson eyes. She looked around the room  uncomfortably. A minute passed before Bella and Edward walked in, Bella looking strangely at me. "Here, Bella! Take her, she is your daughter after all!" Alice said, shoving me into Bella's arms. Bella was startled, and she stiffened as well. "What would you like to name her?" Esme asked, grinning. "Um, well, I haven't really thought of a name for her. I wasn't expecting her, after all..." Bella responded, quite awkwardly. Bella was just about to give out a suggestion, while Rose butted in. "Esme has already given her a 'nickname'," Rose smirked. "It's Stella-Maris, meaning 'northern star', and 'star of the sea'," she continued. Bella looked up at Esme. "Well, I suppose that is a pretty good name for her. Esme, I know you've always wanted to be a mother, and name a child. Stella-Maris - It's pretty good," Bella said a little to fast. Then, she shoved me back into Esme's arms, and picked up Renesmee. "Bella, I got her," Jacob said, demandingly. He then scooped Renesmee up from Bella's arms, and turned the other way. "Hey, what is your problem?!" Bella yelled. Rose smirked. "Oh, do tell her, Jacob," she smiled. Then, they started arguing over something called an "Imprint", and before I knew it, Bella had jacob by the neck, and led him outside. Thats when I realized that  everything seemed to be about Renesmee. My twin. They all adored her. 'They must love me too,' I thought, reassuring myself. "We ought to stay in here, things might get a little tense out there," Esme sighed, and turned to go and feed me some bottled baby food.

                                                                                              A/N:

Okay, so like many of these other "Renesmee's twin" stories, Maris (her nickname), grows much slower than Renesmee, but still faster than a human. She is a hybrid at all, and I know some of you might be thinking "Well, how is she so smart, and know a lot of stuff already? She was literally just born, and knew stuff at a 1st graders level." My answer to that is that she is a hybrid (half human, half vampire creature), and due to her species, she is born with a much stronger development of knowledge and intelligence.  If you think I need to make some improvements, just comment below. I will update soon.
