Louis' POV:

"We are going to grab some breakfast. Do you guys want anything?" Zayn asked gesturing to Josh, Eleanor, Ed, and I. We both shook our heads and Liam, Niall, Zayn, and all of their girlfriends headed down to the cafeteria.

I'm going to be completely honest when I say that I have been sitting in this chair for two days straight. Only on the rare occasion, would I get up to use the restroom. Everything else is covered.

I just didn't want to leave Rosie. From the minute she was put in this hospital room, I haven't left. Eleanor, Josh, and Ed are here as much as I am. None of us leave. We even stay the night here.

They boys who just went to get lunch are here most of the time as well. But they are the runners. They go get food, clothing, whatever is necessary.

Selena, Ariana, and Taylor try to stop by as often as they can. So far they have visited every day. Even Simon has stopped by a few times, leaving little "get well" presents for Rosie.

Harry and Kendall are here the least. They were here the first day. The didn't show up yesterday, and I haven't seen them yet today. It makes me angry knowing how Harry is hardly even here. Wasn't she really close to him? Then this whole Kendall thing popped up and he won't even give her the time of day.

Right now, no one has told us about Rosie's condition. That is slowly driving me insane. I need to know what is happening. Luckily, today the doctors are supposed to tell us what's going on.

I stare at Rose. Her skin has gone pale. Her usually red cheeks have become colorless. Her body looks small and frail on the large hospital bed, making me want to just wrap her up into a hug. The one thing that assures me she is alive is the slow, meticulous beeping of the heart monitor.

On my right, I see Eleanor sitting and watching Rosie, just like she has been for the past two days. Ed and Josh are on the other side of Rosie's bed, doing the same as El.

There was a light knock on the door and a nurse came in, followed by Rosie's doctor. All of our eyes watched the doctor as she went over to Rosie's bed and wrote a few things in her notebook. I quickly called all the boys and told them to get here as quick as possible and to bring their girls. Then I rang Selena, and luckily Taylor and Ariana were with her so I didn't have to call them.

After everyone arrived, besides Harry and Kendall, the doctor came and sat in an empty chair.

Everyone was silent for a moment, until I blurted, "Oh, just tell us what is wrong already."

She looked stunned at first, but finally began to speak. "When Rose fell out of the boat, she hit her head on the side. Very hard actually."

My mouth formed an 'O' shape before she continued. "The lack of oxygen underwater rendered her unconscious, and then a concussion settled in due to her hard hit.

She began to grow nervous and glanced around the room. "She was under the water for far too long, and she couldn't breath." She started to twiddle her thumbs.

"What are you trying to say?" Josh asks.

Again, she nervously glances around the room and bites her lip. "She shouldn't have even survived the fall, let alone the long period of time."

"What are you saying? Just spit it out already!" I said, anger boiling inside of me. There is no way that Rosie is dead. That is not an acceptable solution.

"What I'm saying is," she bowed her head and looked at her lap. "Rosie is in a coma."

Everyone immediately started shouting. All of a sudden, my anger dissolved. It just disappeared and was replaced by nothing. There was no emotion on my face.
