Wow, I seem to be getting better at this updating thing! Maybe one day I'll be able to return to my old habit of updating twice a week!
So I turned 17 on Valentines. And I'm currently writing this in a bus at my friend's house. It's the coolest bus I've ever seen, your argument is invalid.
That's all that really happened. See you next week!
Pic is the shape of the school. Please note that there is no outside space like there is in the picture; instead the middle of the star is a large dome.

Kate's POV
"Okay, so you see that U shaped building over there?" I asked as we left the school building, pointing to said structure.
"Yeah..."
"That's the boarding house where everyone stays." I explained. "We have about 1200 students from all over the world who live here, even the handful from London. They find it easier to live on the school grounds than travelling to and from here everyday."
"Does the boarding house cost a lot?" Chelsea asked nervously. "We're not exactly the richest people in the world."
"It's included in the overall cost." I responded. "Really, the only thing you pay for is plumbing for the toilets, textbooks and teachers so the fees are quite cheap compared to other schools. There's a cave in the forest that leads to a series of tunnels that are riddled with precious gems and metals. Every month or two, a few earth spirits are required to extract enough of these gems and metals to pay for the school for the next month and even then not a lot is required."
"How does that work?"
"Well, each element plays a part in the running of the school." I explained as we walked closer and closer to the boarding house. "Fire spirits are responsible for the heating, water for the plumbing but excluding the toilets, lightning for the basic electric needs such as lights and computers and air for the windmills that power the internet and Wi-Fi."
"So how much are the fees?"
"Well, here it's £100 but in New Zealand money it's roughly $200." I responded. "Which is pretty good when you consider that it includes all your school and boarding fees. I mean, look at the universities in New Zealand. Boarding on average costs about $12,000 a year and that's not even including the tuition. Plus the school pays for all your flights to and from your home country during the holidays."
"Well that's a relief." Chelsea smiled. "Money was the thing my parents were most worried about when I was accepted here."
"Well I'm glad I've managed to put your mind at ease," I beamed back as we entered the bottom of the U. "Alright, so this is the mess hall where you'll come for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus there's a canteen that I showed you in the school building where you can go for food in between." I let Chelsea have a few minutes to explore the vast array of chairs and tables and to look at the menu for dinner tonight. Damn, stir-fry again? That's the third time this week! Maybe I'll just order a pizza or something...
"Okay, so the sides of the U are the boys and girls dorms." I continued after Chelsea was done looking around. "Each is twelve stories high and each floor has 26 rooms, two people per room. Each room has a lounge, a bathroom and two bedrooms so everyone has their own private space."
"Which room am I?"
"Well before I show you to your room, I want to introduce you to one of my friends here." I said, leading the way through the first floor of the boy's side. "I thought it'd be nice for you to know a few people before school starts and don't worry, I'm sure you'll love him."
