Chapter 10 My Date

I got home. "I'm back!", taking off my shoes.

"Why are you coming so late? It's 7.", mom asked.

"Oh sorry mom.", hugging her.

"She was hanging out with the neighbors across of us and she was probably doing the same thing at the next door too.", Jihye butted in.

"Oooh! So how are they? Do they have daughters around your age?", mom asked.

"They're nice and no. Both families have a son and their sons have a lot of friends.", smiling at her.

"Oh that's great, so does their sons go to the same school as you?"

"Yea the next door neighbor does.", looking at her.

"Oh that's great. I should meet our neighbors soon.", mom clapped your hands together.

"You should. Well I'm beat. I think my ankle is getting worse. So I am gonna head up to bed.", having a tired smile on my face.

"Oh okay and don't forget tomorrow is your doctor's appointment. I can drop you off. I have off day.", mom said.

"Oh no it's fine. A friend is coming to take me there.", I said. "You should spend some time with Jihye.", I giggled.

"Oh okay. Who's your friend?", she asked.

"Umm.. It's a guy that asked me out??", not sure if I said it correctly.

"Oh you have a date?!? Be careful!", mom said.

"Psh. No duh mother.", rolling my eyes. "Well going up now. Bye."

Mom looked back, "My baby is growing up.", smiling at herself.

"I heard that! And I'm not a baby!", yelling at her.

"Go to your room!", she yelled back.

I came to my door. I sighed. "I'm sooo tired.", I lied on a bed, closing my eyes. Then I realized that I have to meet up with my date. "Omo! Forgot to text him", I opened my eyes and grabbed my phone as I looked for his number. I texted him my address.

I got up from the bed and headed out of my room. I stepped outside and felt something on my legs. I look down and see Jageun. "Annyeong! Did you miss me?!? I missed you.", as I bent down to hold him.

All he gave me was a lick on my nose. "I take that as a yes.", smiling at him.

I placed him down and headed to the bathroom. Jageun started to follow me. "Hehe following me? Okay.", going inside with me to the bathroom.

I picked him up and placed him on
the toilet seat. I brushed my teeth and washed my face as Jageun was waiting patiently for me to finish. I wiped my face and picked him up.

I left the bathroom with him in my arms as I headed back to my room. I placed him on the bed. "Stay there.", pointing at him.

I went to my closet and quickly put on my pajamas. "Ugh. I'm tired. Let's go to sleep.", as I laid down on my bed. "Goodnight, Jageun!", as i kissed him on his head. I went to sleep.

I woke up on sunlight on my face. "Ugh. What time is it?" I grabbed my phone. 8:29. "Two more hours.", as I groaned. I went back down on my bed as I wanted to sleep some more.

I quickly sat back up again. "Wait my date is today?! Omgoodness!" I looked at my phone and saw one unread message. I open it.

My date,

"Okay. What time do you want me to pick you up?"
