Chapter 8 My New Neighbors Pt. 1

I get out of my house with my little sister by my side. "Well let's go to the next door neighbor.", I said.

"Wait let's go across.", Ji Hye said.

"Oh okay then.", I limped down the small steps to go across.

We got to the door and I pressed the doorbell, DING DONG! Then someone opened the door, I saw a tall handsome guy.

"Oh! Hi. You must be our new neighbors. I'm Kris.", smiling at me.

"Hi I'm Jiyeon and this is my little sister, Ji Hye.", bowing to him. I handed him to the container of cupcakes. "My mom made these. It's cupcakes.", holding out the container.

"Oh. Really? She didn't have to do this.", looking down at the container.

"She wanted to because she never greeted our new neighbors.", smiling at him.

"Tell her thanks! Do you guys wanna come in?", Kris asked.

"Um okay.", I answered as we got inside of his house.

I looked around. Wow kinda looks like my house, but bigger. I didn't know where i was stepping, so I tripped, but never felt an impact as I felt myself falling. I looked up as I saw Kris holding my right arm.

"Um thank you.", standing up straight.

"No problem. You should be more careful.... I never saw that on you?", looking confused as he pointed the cast around my ankle.

"Oh this, probably the container was covering my cast.", looking at my cast.

"Oh what happened?", asking curiously.

"I kinda fell down the stairs at school.", scratching my head.

"Oh it looks painful.", looking at the cast.

"Nah I'm fine. I get to take it off tomorrow hopefully.", as I was giggling.

"That's great. Um.. You wanna meet my friends?", he asked.

"Sure sounds fun.", smiled at him.

"Hey guys where you at!", he yelled.

"In the living room.", someone yelled back.

We got to the living room and my sister and I saw 11 cute/handsome boys. They all looked up as they were also looking at us.

"Uh hi", i bowed at them so did my sister.

They all stood up. All said "Hi! Hello! Yo! What up!", waving at me and my sister.

"I'm Jiyeon and this is my sister, Jihye. Nice meet you guys.", smiling at them.

"I'm Luhan", with a deer-like face.

"I'm Minseok.", with the chubby cheeks.

"I'm Yixing.", with a unicorn-like face.

"I'm Joonmyun", with the dollar sign shirt.

"I'm Chanyeol", with the big ears.

"I'm Baekhyun", with the eyeliner.

"I'm Kyungsoo", with the big eyes.

"I'm Jongdae", with a big smile.

"I'm Jongin", with a bronze face.

"I'm Tao", with the dark circles.

"I'm Sehun", with a good face feature.

They all bowed. So well mannered boys!

"You guys want cupcakes?", I asked them.

"Yea!", they all came running towards me.

"Yah! Back off!", Kris said. "Can't you all see that she has a cast?"

They all looked down at my cast. "Oh I'm sorry.", Sehun said.

"No it's fine.", smiling at them. "Kris, you didn't have to yell at them.", shaking my head.

"Uhhh.... Sorry.", Kris doesn't know what to do. "Um guys here is the cupcakes.", gave the container to Chanyeol. "Hey Jihye, come with us.", Minseok called for her.

They all left the living room towards the kitchen. "I think she is sad.", Luhan said.

"Yea I feel bad.", Yixing said.

They went to the table and eat their cupcakes.

"Hey I didn't mean to make you sad.", As Kris was gently holding my shoulder.

"I know, but I just hate having this cast on. I don't want people to think I can't do anything.", still looking down.

"Well I don't pity you. I actually forgot that you had the cast on", going down to look at my face.

"Maybe you are just clueless", looking away.

"Ouch that hurts", Kris was holding his chest.

"You are weird. You know that?", raising my brows at him.

"Yea i know. But my friends are more weirder.", winking at me.

I looked away with blushed cheeks. I just limped to the kitchen. "You guys like the cupcakes?", I asked the boys.

"Yea it's really good!", Tao gave me a thumbs up.

"Did you make these?", Joonmyun asked.

"My mom did actually.", smiling at them.

"Jiyeon, can I go back home?", my sister asked. "Hey I left the cupcakes on the table, so can you deliver them?", as she pointed to the left from her.

"Oh sure and can you make sure that you feed Jageun?", I said to my sister.

"Yea. I'll see you at home and it was nice meeting you guys.", my sister bowed and left.

"Who's Jageun?", Sehun asked.

"He is my puppy that I found in an alley down the street.", giggling as I was thinking about my puppy.

"Hey why does your sister call you by your name?", Jongin asked.

"Dude you aren't supposed to ask that. It's not your business.", Baekhyun said.

"Oh no it's fine to ask.", I smiled at him. "She calls me that because it's weird for her to call me Unnie, plus in the states, you don't call sibling Unnie, Oppa, Noona, or Hyung. Unless you are Korean, but my sister is an exception.", smiling at them.

"WOAH! You're from the states?", Sehun asked.

"Yupp!", nodding my head.

"Wow that's cool.", Joonmyun said.

"Not really.", puffing my cheeks.

"Ahh! You are soo adorable!", Minseok came up to me and started to pinch them.

"Um thank you I guess", stepping away from him. I looked at my phone,"Well I gotta go. I'll see you guys around. I have to go deliver the other cupcakes.", i bowed to them.

Kris grabbed the container from the dinner table. "I can help you deliver them to the other neighbors.", smiling at me.

"No it's fine.", I grabbed the container.

"Well bye guys. Hope you like the neighborhood.", bowing to them & limping away to the front door.

Kris looked at me. Everyone in the kitchen looked at him. He turned back and see them looking at him, "What are you guys looking at? Do I have something on my face?", touching his face.

"No, but you do have something in your eyes.", Jongdae starts laughing. "Heart shaped pupils!"

They all start laughing. He folds his arm, "Huh? What are you talking about?".

"Dude you have a crush on that girl.", Kyungsoo eating his cupcake. "I should get this recipe. This is really good.", looking at the cupcake. Not even looking at him.

"You guys are being stupid", Kris rolled his eyes & walking away from the kitchen.
