Sabaku POV
I sat in a tree and waited for the rest of team to arrive. For once there was quiet, for once there was peace. I was actually enjoying myself, I was able to relax and calm down, I was able to relieve some stress. I laid down and let my tail hang off of the edge of the tree, it swayed back and fourth in a way some would call elegant. I sighed and watched the trees sway in the breeze and waited for the rest of the team. I knew I was early, so I closed my eyes and decided to go to sleep.
But, I couldn't. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't. There was a nagging feeling in my chest reminding me why I was really here. Why I had left the desert in the first place, I had to find my father. I was forgetting why I was in this damned place, not to make friends, not to 'start over' I was here to find out about my father.
I began to think of ways to find my father without drawing to much attention to myself. I was in deep thought, only to be interrupted by a loud yell, "WOO HOO!!!" I looked over with a aggravated expression to see Naruto fist pumping the air. Then I turned to see The rest of the team and Tanzuna already there. I watched them argue and stand there, they seemed to be waiting. "If she doesn't hurry up we'll have to leave her." Kakashi said with a hint of aggravation in his voice.
I jumped down from the tree and looked at him, "If who doesn't hurry up?" I asked a bit confused. Naruto jumped, Sakura and Tanzuna flinched, while Sasuke and Kakashi looked surprised. "Where were you? We were waiting." Kakashi asked. I scoffed, "I was in that tree waiting for you all to show up. I arrived about thirty minutes early." I turned to face Naruto. "To get some peace and quiet form once." I finished sternly. Naruto flinched and gulped, "Well, lets go then." Kakashi said as he began to walk through the gates. I walked behind everyone else only to be disturbed by Naruto's voice, "Hurry up Sabaku-chan!" I looked at him and pulled him towards myself with sand, "Shut up! I don't have time to deal with you right now!" I threw him into a bush and continued walking.
Kakashi POV
I looked at Sabaku, she had less patience then usual. I decided to slow down and walk beside her, she ignored me and just kept walking. I looked at her strangely, she didn't even give me a look or tell me to go away. She was just sielent. I then nudged her, and still nothing. She was just staying still, as if she wasn't there, as if I wasn't there. I then threw a kunai at her, but it was quickly caught by sand and thrown on the ground. I was for sure she would try to kill me, but still nothing. I sighed and walked back up to the rest of the group.
