The Beginning of the End

Chapter 2

Farah's POV

Thoughts.....

Lit. Anime. Levi. The teachers walk forward. Silence. Has the world ended. Oh well.... I guess that's lit.

Jasmine's POV

The teachers stood before us. Everyone was quiet.

"There have been attacks on the world, including our government." said our math teacher Mr Jason.

"Lots of people have died." chirped in Ms. Haerle or science teacher.

No body said anything, but we knew that that meant some of our parents, family, and loved ones might be dead.

"We give you two choices." our lit (hey that's pretty lit fam) teacher Mrs. Arnolts said. "You can either leave when you please or stay here."

"There will be food and supplies here until we run out." Mr Lucas added.

"And we don't know what Malad Mink has planned or what he might do next." said Mrs Haerle.

When we heard the name Malad Mink, we all knew that the greatest terrorist had attacked our world. Malad had been fighting against every country from what we knew of. He must've out smarted them.

Farah's POV

I hear a girl scream and faint behind me. Lit. The boy in front of me of wet his pants. Lit. Chaos. Lit. Things are going "great".

Kaylie's POV

I exchange looks with Farah and Jasmine. We get up and walk slowly to the rest of our friends. We found ourselves in the art room. (mostly because no one else was there) Me, Farah and Jasmine walk in. We see Alex and Sam sitting quieter than normal.

"I'm gay" Sam whispers.

Never mind. They're fine. Then I see Sofia curled up in a ball with Paige next to her. I knew Sofia was probably more scared than any of us. Baylee, Krystal, and Claire were laughing from a joke they said trying to ease the moment. I looked to my left to see Emma who seemingly brought Aiden, Evan, Eli and Patrick. Me, Farah, and Jasmine sit down.

Jasmine's POV

"I think we should stay for a few days, then leave." I say.
"But.... Mrs Arnolts said we can stay here." Sam exclaimed.
"We don't know how long the supplies here will last though." Claire said.
"Maybe we should gather supplies here and then head out in a day." suggested Alex.
"Fucking nerd!" I scream at him.
"Where would we go?" Baylee asks cutting my screaming off.
"Let's go to my house," Farah answered, " it's the closest place with supplies.
"Well then it's decided. " I say " We'll leave in a day."

I then get up to go sit by myself and take in everything that has happened. Just twenty minutes ago my life was normal. Now it was at risks, along with my friends'. Then I realized I might never see my parents and family again. I start to cry from the fact.

"Jasmine, it'll be alright." Farah said walking over to me and hugging me.

Then I realized everyone else was going through the same thing I was. I stopped crying and looked into my friends' eyes. They were filled with sorrow.

"I... I'm sorry, it's a lot to take in." I whisper, "It's selfish of me to cry."
"It's okay." Farah whispered back, "We all understand."

I got up from Farah's arms and walked to the door.

"Why don't we get dinner." I suggest looking around.
