~chapter 2 - meeting idiots and nerds~

I glanced up from my phone to see people walking towards their lockers or home rooms. Then I looked back at my phone. I had been leaning against this locker for a while on my phone.

"H-hey. Did you know your supposed to be heading to your home room? And... can I get to my locker please...." I looked up to see a dark skinned girl with long dark brown hair that matched her dark chocolaty eyes.

"Uhh... Yeah sorry." I got up off her locker and leaned on the one next to it. I was about to start playing on my phone again when she started taking again.

"Also.... you can't go on your phone.... not now... at lunch you can.... but I will let you of this t-time!" I looked back at her to see her giving me a awkward smile with a small hint of pink in her cheeks.

"Oh" I carried on playing on my phone.

"Are you going to home room...?" She asked concerned.

"No...."

"What?! But you need to... what year are you? where's your home room?? Are you new or have I never seen you before???" She started questioning.

"3rd year. I don't know where my home room is. I'm new." I told her and was about to walk away to avoid anymore questions.

"Well I'm in the 3rd year as well! And I am supposed to help anyone new so I'll help you!" She smiled slightly and I looked up from my phone to see her in front of me.

"My names Teony and I hope we can become good freinds. So where's your schedule?" I put my phone in my bag and handed her my schedule.

"Cool! Your in my home room! So you want to walk with me there?" I nodded in response.

I sat down at the back of home room whilst I saw someone talking to Teony. Next lesson I have.. creative writing. Isn't that just amazing... I sighed.

"Hey! I didn't get your name!" Teony said with a redhead following behind her. They both sat down next to me.

"My names y/n." I replied.

"Well y/n! This is Nicole one of my freinds." Nicole smiled at me.

"Well I doubt you'd introduce a stranger to me." I laughed and I got my book out and placed my phone in between.

The girls looked slightly shocked and I heard Nicole whisper something like 'are you sure you want to be freinds with her she might get you into trouble'. I didn't want to be mean but..... Nerds alert! I smiled at my own joke and carried on playing on my phone.

Our home room teacher was named Miss Ostrich. A very unique name I guess. Then the bell rang. Finaly.

I got up and left. On the way out of home room I spotted my locker and quickly put in the equipment I didn't need then went to the toilet. After that it took me 10 minutes to find my classroom so I was only 20 minutes late for lesson.

I entered the classroom and saw the whole class look at me as if I had murdered someone on the way here.

"Sorry I'm late I couldn't find my way here." The teacher spun around to face me with a unimpressed look.

"How did yo manage to be 20 minutes late??" He asked and I shrugged and sat down on a empty seat on the right middle row.

"What are we even doing?" I asked the person next to me.

He turned to face me. He had light brown hair. He had beautiful light blue eyes like the clear sky. He was talking to me and I didn't even listen!! He must have a beautiful voice...

"Sorry hottie I wasn't listening." I said to him half way through him talking.

"We need to write about ouself's. Our hobby's and- wait... Did you call me hottie???" He asked dumbfounded. I laughed at the stupid face he had.

"thanks for the help and what's your name or do I carry on calling you hottie?" I joked and he laughed as well. Luckily most people where talking to each other so our conversation went unheard beneath the others.

"The names Laurence. What's your name or do I call you the new girl?" We both smiled.

"Y/n. My names y/n. It's nice to meet you Laurence." I told him and we carried on joking and talking until the end of the lesson.

"What lesson do you have next Laurence?" I asked him.

"I have math class and after I have gym. You?" He asked me.

"Werewolf then gym" I sighed.

"Oh right see you in gym then?" He asked.

"Yeah sure but I dunno if I'll be there. I forgot my gym kit so I might ditch that lesson."

"Why? It's your first day I'm sure the gym teacher won't give you a detention." He told me reassuringly.

"I might go but I don't enjoy gym. Anyway you should go to maths class see ya" we both waved bye and left each other.

I was not going to werewolf class so I walked outside behind the bleachers ,as I did I saw 3 people there already. I walked past them and sat down on the floor under the bleachers.

As I waked past they all gave me a confused look and wispered to them self's. I chose to ignore them and got my phone out.
Suddenly someone kicked my foot and I turned up to see a brown haired boy with darker brown eyes. I glared at him and saw the other 2 behind him laugh.

"So what are you doing here new girl?" He spat and I got up then put my phone in my bag.

"None of your business. What about you idiot?" I asked still glaring at him.

"Oh zenix don't be mean to her she seems nice." I white haired girl came up to me and took my side with a hand on my shoulder.

"Oh come on sasha I just want to tease her a bit" after that the two of them argued and I leaned onto one of the podiums holding up the bleachers.

"So are you guys some sort of naughty kids squad." I asked smirking at them. One kid turned around. He had a mask covering his face and hair covering his left eye.

"We are the shadow nights." Sasha begun talking and I noticed her strange purple eyes.

"I'm sorry but I'm not going to stay any longer with some idiotic girl band." I stated and started to walk away. Shadow nights did sound like a girl band. And the only idiot from what I can tell was zenix.

"Zane! Make her regret saying thst like a REAL member of the shadow nights or see you not anymore zane?" Zenix hissed at zane.

But by the time zane tried I was already gone.
