"Hello?.." I heard Jeffory's gentle voice...
"Jeffory?... How do I say this?... So.. It's y/n. From highschool." I laughed awkwardly and there was silence.
"Is this really you!? Can I visit you? I thought you went to college... Can we meet up? Wait do you still live near me? Are you still living in your dorm??" He asked.
"Calm down." I laughed. "Yeah it's the real amazing, fantastic, cool y/n. And I'm back in town, I'm currently still living with my parents though."
"Can I visit? I remeber your parents house. I actually know your brother quite well so I've visited a few times..." He told me.
"So you betrayed me? For my brother? My brother is your best friend now?" I joked and we both laughed.
"I also work with your dad, and we get along super well, but your mum... she isn't to fond of me." He laughed a little.
"Don't worry about her. She is a big teddy bear inside." I happily said to him.
"I wouldn't say a teddy bear.. I'd say a big scary grizzly bear, who wants to eat me alive, do you know why that is?" He laughed into the call, and I felt satisfying vibrations run through my ears.
"It's probably because I told her we where a thing a while ago, however she isn't always like that with boys... shes only mean to you... and she was mean to Laurence..." I hesitated to say Laurence's name.
"Do you still talk to him?" He questioned.
"No.. so are you coming around? I can send you the address if you don't remeber." I quickly changed the subject.

Eventually, jeffory arrived and we had many random convocations ,whilst sitting on my bed. I found out that jeffory went to college with Ruben and he had been working with my dad for about a year. Him and Ruben became friends for the 2 years they both went the same college. Currently, Jeffory was telling me about 'eveyone'.
"They all went to love love paradise a while ago and they where even in a street theatre play about 2 years ago. They did Romeo and Juliet." He told me and I sat there intrigued. "What where you doing 2 years ago?" He asked and I froze.
"College remeber?..." I said quickly smiling. "Also who did you mean when you say 'They'?"
"Well they all lived in the same neighbourhood so I will name eveyone there. It was Katelyn,Aphmah, kawaii~chan, Aaron, zane, garroth, Dante, Travis, and Laurence." He told me and I nodded.
"Who's Aaron?" I asked and lay on my bed.
"I guess you wouldn't have met Aaron. He left when you joined our school." He lay next to me on my bed and we stared at the ceiling.
"A few months ago their homes blew up so they are currently living in some newly built homes about 40 minutes away." He turned to me slightly.
"Cool." I said, uninterested and sat back up on my bed.
"So I was thinking..." Jeffory also sat up.
"Don't think to much it may kill you." I replied sacasticaly, causing a smile to form on his face.
"You need a job right?" He asked and grabbed his phone from his shirt pocket.
"Yes, I do. I'm guessing you have a good place for me to work?" I raised an eyebrow.
He turned on his phone then clicked a few times, afterwards handing me his phone. I looked down ,then examined the screen.
"Ha ha ha. Aren't you just hilarious." I sarcastically told him and turned to him. "A maid cafe?"
"It's Aphmaus cafe, it got damaged a while ago by a fire, but you could help with the few repairments, then if you don't want to be a maid you can find another job." He reassured.
"Thanks." I smiled and leaned over to hug him. "So do I need an interview or anything?" I asked worriedly.
"Yeah, probably with Kawaii~Chan ,since she's mostly been running it." He told me and I nodded.
"Hey y/n what about this job?" Ruben walked into my room, the looked up from his phone. "Oh hey Jeff." He added.
"What job? Jeffory's suggested a job as well, so I'll take which ever one is most convenient." I told Ruben as he handed me his phone.
It was a job at one of the shops in the mall, it suprisingly payed well, however I hadn't gotten the details for the maid cafe yet.
"Jeff, when can I see Kawaii~Chan for the details for the maid cafe? If the maid cafe pays better, I'll probably work there." I asked, but I heard my brother snicker.
"You? Work in a maid cafe?.." He was holding back laughter.
"Why do you think I couldn't?" I said sassily and he burst out laughing.
"I don't think you can handle talking to that many people on a daily basis. And I doubt you would wear a maid outfit." He said between laughed.
"Well I think I could! I will! And ill look amazing in a maid outfit! Right Jeffory?" I shouted with determination.
"Y-yeah.... You'd look beautiful." He smiled sweetly at me. "So I'll text you the details for the Maid cafe job. Is that okay?"
"Yeah yeah! Thank you!" I said happily.
"Would you like to join us for a meal Jeff?" My brother asked before leaving my room.
"Yeah of course! That's only if it's convenient though." He said politely.
"Obviously it's convenient! We wouldn't ask you otherwise." Me and Ruben said in unison, then laughed.

Me, Jeffory, Ruben and dad where all chatting happily, whilst eating out food, however mum had been silent.
"Hey what's up?" I nudged her slightly.
"Nothing..." She sighed and carried on eating.
"Hey, Jeffory's not that bad and he was there for me, he wasn't like Laurence." I wispered to her reassuringly.
"I guess so..." she sighed agian, and when I thought she was finished talking, she spoke up. "You and Ruben have just grown up so much..." she almost wispered.
"Oh mum... Your little girl and boy is still here, no need to worry." I patted her shoulder slightly.
"Thank you hunnie." She spoke quietly.
