Once me and Jeffory arrived to the party I pushed through the crowd and dragged Jeffory. We both headed towards Teony, Nicole, and Katelyn.
"Hey y/n! Hey Jeff!" They all said trying to talk loud enough since the music was pretty loud.
"Cool party Nicole! Are you sure your parents would let you invite this many people? I don't even know half of them and I know a lot of people!" I told her and laughed.
"Well... They said I could have a party whilst they went ,but they didn't specify about how many people I could invite" she told me and giggled.
"So you two?..." Katelyn raised a eyebrow at my holding Jeffory's hand, which I did to drag him through the crowd.
We quickly let go. "I'm sorry.. it's not anything like that for now..." I reassured her. I didn't want to make Katelyn upset because of the relationship she has with Jeffory.

I had been looking for laurnece for a while ,however he was nowhere to be seen. "Teony have you seen Laurence?" I pulled her to the side of the crowd.
"I don't think so... Maybe he was just running a bit late? Try texting him." I nodded and walked outside into Nicole's back garden.
'Hey are you at this party? Can't find you anywhere 😔🤔' I texted then got a quick reply.
'I was about to text you asking the same thing 😁 where are you? I can introduce you to Michi! 😊'
'I'm outside at the back. The party's a bit hectic in there 😅'
'Ok see you out there 😊'
I sat down on the grass and checked the time. Wow. It was 6:36pm. I never asked what time mum wanted me home... I'll text her now or Ruben.
As I was about to text them I heard my name being called.
"Y/n!" Laurence ran up to me holding a girls hand. She had purple hair with yellow faded through strands of hair and green eyes. She looked different but.. pretty.
"Hey!" I replied. Me and laurence hugged so I was going to hug Michi but she stepped away with a odd look on her face.

We chatted for a while ,but.. it was mostly me and Laurence talking. Michi would occasionally agree with whatever Laurence said but never said a word to me. How strange...
"In going to get a drink. Do you want one Laurence. nya?~" she asked Laurence. Why wouldn't she ask me as well?...
"Can you get me a coke? What about you y/n?" Laurence turned to me.
"Oh can I have a [drink] please?" She nodded and walked inside.
"She seems nice. She doesn't talk much though." I smiled towards him but we were sitting about a meter away so it was a small, unnoticeable smile.
"Yeah, I think she's just a little shy. But..." He smirked at me.
"What?" I frowned and my ears perked up to listen to whatever stupid thing he was going to say.
"You a jeffory?" He cooed and I rolled my eyes with a small laugh.
"It's nothing yet. I don't think. And who told you??" I looked at the sky.
"Nicole did whilst I was trying to find you and so how are things going to work out with you two?" He asked.
"I told Jeffory he needs to go to college. He was staying extra time in highschool to stay with me. We are going to stay in contact and see if things work our later on ,but only if he goes to college." I told Laurence and he simply nodded ,which left us in silence.
Eventually Michi came with out drinks and I decided to go back inside. After texting my brother and mum. The messages read.
To mum-
'Hey mum. 😊 I never asked what time I was supposed to be back. 😣 The party finished at 8 but I will probably help Nicole tidy up. Do you wan me home earlier?🤔❤' - sent at 7:16pm
To Ruben-
'I'm not sure if mum will see her phone so I'm texting you as well. 😁😂 so what time do I need to be home? The party finishes at 8 and I'm probs gonna help Nicole tidy up. 😊. You recon mum will make you pick me up at 8:30?😁' sent at 7:17pm
Eventually I got a text back and Ruben was going to pick me up at 8:20pm.

The party calmed down since there was only 10 minutes left. I was talking to Nicole when.
"Y/n......" I turned to see Laurence. "Is it true?...." He asked me. Is what true?
"What are you talking about??." I frowned.
"Did you really think that I was going to fall for your stupid plan!?" He raised his voice.
"Uhh? What plan??" I asked. What is he talking about.
"Michi~Chan knows what your going to do!! Nya!~" Michi gave me a disgusted look.
"Is this a joke? What's happening??" I asked and looked back at Nicole.
"What's y/n done? I'm sure it's a misunderstanding." Nicole reassured and came to my side.
Laurence and Michi then left.
"What the hell?" I looked back at Nicole as more people left the party. Some suprised by what happened.
"I don't know..." Nicole shrugged and I started to help her clean up.

Eventually me, Katelyn, Nicole and Teony had cleaned up. But.... what happened earlier.....
"Hey y/n I'm sure Laurence has just mixed something up." Katelyn told me and put a hand on my shoulder.
"But what??" I spat.
"Y/n...." Teony looked at me. She knew I was getting annoyed. She wanted me to control my temper.
"I've gotta go wait for my brother. See ya." I told then and stormed out of Nicole's house before I got any response.
What did I actually do?? Nothing. He is just being horrible. Maybe he doesn't want to be friends? I give up.
