Chapter 2:
Austin and me sat in some chairs waiting. "Do you like magic?" Austin asked with a smile, trying to get my mind off everything else. I think about it for a second. "Yeah a little." I say with a smile. "Thats cool. Do you every try to do a spell for fun?" He says with a little chuckle. "I did when I was younger but they never worked." I say with a giggle.
I smiled. "Do you remember any of them?" He asked. I could tell he was very amused by this. "Just one." I said quite. "Oooo. lets hear it." He said excited. "When the moon rises you will do my bidding by turning human." I said turned away from him. He was quite.
When I looked at him, he was just stareing at me. I whisper to myself the reverse of the spell while looking at the ground. "When the sun rises you will turn back to what you were." When I look up at Austin he was gone, but a wolf was there. I widen my eyes as I stare at the wolf. The wolf was pitch black.
The wolf stared at me. "Whats wrong, Gem?" The wolf asked. I started backing away slowly. "H..how can you talk?" I asked scared. He turned his head to the side confussed. Then he looked down. "I'm a wolf again." He said happily.
I looked at him confussed. "Gem, don't you remember the wolves in the woods?" I thought about it for a second. "Yeah, but I havn't seen them for 8 years. You look just like one of them." I said confussed. "It's me, Gem, Austin. I was one of the wolves in the woods. I've been trying to turn back for 8 years." He said with a wolfy smile and wagging his tail.
I drop to me knees, then rapped my arms around his neck. He layed his head on my shoulder. "I've missed you guys so much." I said trying to hold back my tears. "I was so lonly with out you and the others. You were my only friends I even had." I start crying into his fur. He rubs his head aginst mine. "We're sorry, we tryed to get back but we couldn't turn back into wolves." He said with a little whine.
I pulled back and patted his head lightly."I thought you would have remember us by our names." Someone said from the door way. I look over at the door to see David.
He smiles at me, then walks over to help me up. "Is that why your around me and being nice to me." I said with a smile. He kinda looks away. "That and other reasons." He says. I started laughing. Laughing? Thats something I havn't done since I was younger.
I looked over at austin to see him smiling. "So am I going to stay a wolf for the rest of the school day?" He said still smiling. I giggle. "Do you want to or do you want to stay that way for a little while." He looks at me while thinking about it. "That would be fun, but I wouldnt be able to talk and I'll be taken out of the school." He laughs.
I think about something for a second. "Why dont you come to class with me as my pet and friend?" I said with a big smile. He looks at me and then nods. "Okay, That will be fun." Someone behind me clears his throat. "He has to be in his class." I turned around to see red-head, I think his name was Casey.
I started to get scared. "What you going to do so he can?" Casey says. I thought about it and was about to say something when a guy with grayish/white hair stopped me. "She doesnt have to listen to you." He said. He was like David, but just had grayish/white hair. I think his name was Danil. I step back and say the spell. "When the sun rises you will turn back to what you were." Now there were four wolves in frount of me.
I sat down on the chair that was next to me. My mouth open. The wolves just looked at me confussed. "Gem, why did you turn me into a wolf?" A beautiful blonde wolf asked. I just stared at him. "If we don't hurry we'll be late for class." He said. I blinked and remembered that this wolf was David. "When the moon rises you will do my bidding by turning human." I whispered in his ear.
He changed back and the others looked at me. "I'll just take you guys to classes with me." I smiled. They looked at me and nodded. "How are you going to keep us in controle?" I found some ropes and made them into loose collers."Now they can't say anything." I smiled. David grabbed Casey's rope, while I grabbed Danil and Austin's ropes and started walking to class.
