Chapter 3: Class Day

Chapter 3:

As we walk to class, I was nerves. I had three wovles with me and I had David next to me. This was going to be very interesting to see what happens when I get into class.

There was about 2 minutes till class started. The teacher wasn't there yet so when I got there the class went silent, but then started whispering to each other. They were staring at me like if I was crazy. I ignored them and went to the back and sat in a seat next to the window.

I sat there looking down at my desk. Then David sat down in the seat next to me. The wolves looked at me and saw how everyone made me feel. I felt a body lay next to me and a head lay on my knee.

I looked down and saw Danil laying next to me and Austin was resting his head on my lap. That made me calm down a little.

The bell rang and the teacher came in. "Friend's day starts now." She said with a big smile. "Who wants to share there friends with us first." She scans the room and stops at me. "How about you, Gem?" She smiles at me.

I look at her and nod. Austin lifts his head off me as I stood up. Danil stood up and walked in front of me with austin. David follow me a little after. The teacher stared at me in suprised.

I stared at the class whispering stuff. "These are my friends Austin, Danil, David and Casey." I said with a smile and pointing to the wolves and David. The class went silent seeing me smile.

Someone raised her hand. I look at her. "How long have you known David?" She asked. That caught me off guard. I look at David. He thinks about it. "About 10-11 years i think." He says. Everyone was suprised by that.

Another person raised there hand. A guy this time. "Are those wolves?" He asked. I saw David flinch in the corner of my eye. "um...no, there...." I said thinking about it. "Huskeys." David said before I could. I looked at him and he just stared back at me. The teacher looked at us. "Okay, thank you Gem for sharing." She said with a smile.

We head back to our seats."That was fun." Austin said with his wolfy smile. I look at him amazed and giggle. "I was so nerves." I said with a smile. He layed down next to me and closed his eyes. "I'm going to take a nap, okay?" He asked. "Okay." I said quitly. Danil layed his head on my lap and closed his eyes too. I lightly petted his head and I thought I saw him smile.

The rest of class went on like that. Casey was glaring at me the whole time during class. I could of sworn that David kept stareing at me.

At the end of class we walked through the halls and everyone we passed stared at us. David had a different class then me so he gave me Casey's rope. Danil was always between Casey and me, I was really releaved by that. I went to class with them the rest of the day.

I meet up with David after school and we walked to my house. "Wow, your house is big." Austin said wide-eyed. I laughed. "Want to come in?" I asked him. He smiles and nods. "But first I dont think Lena will like wolves in the house." I said with a laugh. "When the moon risesy ou will do my bidding by turning human." I smiled.

The three turned back into humans. "Why didn't you turn us back at school?" Casey said through clenched teeth. That made my flinch. "Well with everyone around, it wasn't something we want people to see." Danil said. I let out a slow breath. We walked up to the door and before I could open the door it opened.

A lady with long blonde hair and dark green eyes stood in the door way. "GEM!" She screamed at me then hugged me. "I'm so glad your home. I need to run out to the store and..." She started to trail off as she looked behind me. "Oh, hello. Are you friends of Gem?" She asked cheerfully. They nodded. "So glad to finally meet a friend of hers." She said as she pointed. I rolled my eyes playfully. "You kids have fun while I go to the store. If you want you can stay for dinner." She said as she walked down the walk-way.

They watched her leave then looked at me. "What?" I asked. "Shes a very cheerful person." I said and they just nodded. We went into the living room and sat in different chairs. For a while we sat in silents.
