Alvin's P.O.V.

"ALVIN! Get up!"

Groaning, I slowly opened my tired eyes and picked my head up, my body still asleep as I tried to wake myself up. Yawning, I forced myself up and I rubbed my eyes, making my way to the closet to get my outfit for the day, which was the same red hoodie with the yellow A on it, so I didn't understand why I needed a closet, but I decided to just go with it.

"ALVIN!"

Grunting, I opened my door.

"I'M UP! CALM YOURSELF!"

As I closed the door, I rubbed my eyes once more and turned to look at myself in the mirror, and what I saw made me frown. Looking at myself clearly, I could see why all those chipmunks broke up with me. Why they cheated on me. Why they broke my heart. Why they left me.

I was used to it, however. The first time, yes, I had cried for two days, but now, if someone breaks me, it doesn't really affect me all that much.

"ALVIN!"

Grunting, I quickly adjusted my hat and shoes, put on my clothes, then left my room, my arms crossed over my chest as I made my way down the stairs.

"I'M COMING!" I yelled back.

Once I got to the ground level, I didn't even bother talking to who I was in the house with. As I walked out of the front door, I took out my phone and walked down the sidewalk, looking at the news. A female chipmunk was missing. The last known sighting of her was in the woods. Weird. Usually if someone goes missing, they're usually in town.

I was about to put my phone away, but that's when I saw something in the picture.

As I stopped myself, I zoomed into the picture and my eyes instantly widened.

In the picture, on the girl's neck, were two teeth marks.

Now, normally, no one would freak. But in this town, everyone believes in mythical beings. Like vampires. So if someone saw this picture and zoomed in, they would be freaking out.

Gulping, I carefully turned my phone off and shoved it into my pocket, then started on my way again.

In my opinion, I don't think all vampires are bad, but I've been shut down for that idea.

As I continued on my way, I could hear a few voices, some of which were saying my name.

Trying to ignore them, I put my headphones on and continued walking.
