Alvin's P.O.V

I sighed and tapped my pencil on my desk as my teacher talked up front. Currently, I was in Math, and even though she was talking about math stuff, all I was hearing was "blah blah blah blah blah" you know, what everyone hears while they're in math class.

I used to be good at Math, but then I found out something, and I never saw my grades as anything to keep up with. My guardian didn't really care how I did in school, so while in class, I usually stared out the window blankly or sang a song quietly in my head.

Today, I was staring out the window, thinking about how I was going nowhere in my life and how I really didn't care all that much.

And that's when I saw someone-or something-fall from the sky.

Even the teacher stopped once she heard it crash outside our window.

"Alvin, go see what that was."

"But-" I started to protest, but she soon smacked her ruler down on my desk, making me jump and heart skip a beat. "NOW!"

I nodded and jumped right out of my seat and sprinted out of the room towards the front of the school.

"Hey!"

I grunted and roughly stopped myself from running, my shoes screeching on the tile floor as I did so.

"What do you want Roxy?" I asked as I turned to the black haired chipette, annoyed. She did this to me every time, and it really irked me. I was the only chipmunk she stopped from running in the halls. Said I wasn't "good enough" or something like that.

"Mr. Seville, this is your fifth offense this week. You know what your punishment is."

"You let me off with a warning, and we call it a day?"

"Ye-what? No!"

I grunted in frustration. So close.

"It's detention. After school in the library with Mr. Manox.

I grunted once again and swiped the paper from her hand as she handed it to me. "Fine, whatever. Now just leave me alone, would ya?"

I frowned as I turned back around and started walking towards the front of the school once again.

                         ~~~
I sighed as I went down the stairs, wondering what exactly had crashed in front of the school.
Walking towards my classroom window, I started to get quite nervous. What if it was dangerous? What if it was bigger then me and decided to swallow me whole? What if-
I was cut off as I heard a groan, then a someone whisper.
"That was a shitty fall."
I gulped, the pace I was now at was more like what a police officer would do if they were sneaking into a criminal's hideout with guns and all the shizz.
"H-Hello?" I cursed myself silently for stuttering. "Who are you?"
I had gotten close enough to the body where I noticed the guy seemed to be wearing all black.
"Who are you?" I asked again, intertwining my hands together to keep them from shaking.
The guy didn't answer me, struggling to stand up, but finally managed to do so. And when he turned around and we were face to face, my eyes went huge.
