El watched the boys play D&D.
This is her 4th day here, a Saturday, a day the boys have off every week. along with the next day after that.
Eleven watched Mike, who controlled the whole game.
Apparently, the boys are trying to conquer a fortress full of monsters and stuff.
Eleven knew that the others thought she was smart, but this world is hard.
I'm a lot more observant than people think.
It's hard being different, but the boys help, a lot.
Max helps a lot, too.
While she was watching the boys, Max talked to her.
"I was never really into D&D, I kind of just vaguely watched."
"Thanks, for talking to me, Max," El smiled.
"No problem, us girls will need to stick together."
El hugged her.
*Will*
Will still felt queasy about the slugs even though in like a month he would be getting surgery.
He also wasn't paying very much attention to the game and died.
(I don't know much about D&D 😂)
He sat next to El and Max on the couch and watched the other boys play.
He wanted to stop liking El.. Mike is his best friend. He never wanted to hurt him, but the heart wants what it wants.
He knows he will never be able to make a move on her only if something happened to Mike.
I need to get these toxic thoughts of if my head! What the hell is wrong with me!!
Will slumped down on the couch.
*Eleven*
El watched Will slunk down.
"What's wrong, Will?" A wave of concern flashed in her dark brown eyes.
"Oh, nothing," Will looked up at her.
"Will, friends don't lie," she looked down at him.
And that's when he did it.
He kissed her.
*Dr. Owens*
"When we took the boy, what were we going to do with him?" One of the workers asked.
Another one calls out, "the kid is a living incubator!"
Dr. Owens looked at the redness in front of him from the control room.
"We'll take them out, burn them."
