It's approaching 4:30 and I make my way to the SUV with my driver, I pull out my phone to text Normani.
Me: I'm on my way, address?

Around 5 we pull up to the apartment and I text her that I'm outside. She soon comes down and I reach over to open the door. She gets in and hugs me, I hug back with a smile on my face.
"Hey Lauren" She says
"Hi Normani" I say, a smile still on my face
"Just call me Mani" She chuckles
I nod my head and we talk the whole way there, getting to know each other more. We get the unlimited ticket wristband and she drags us to the cyclone.
"Come on Lo walk faster" She smiles
A smile creeps up my face just by the sight of hers and I walk up faster. Once we're secured in the ride I grab onto the bar with excitement.
"Have you been here before? You're acting like it's your first time" She laughs
"This is only my fourth time, I didn't live in New York until January so I would only be able to come if I had free time during a tour or something" I say
"Where'd you live before?" She asks
"I was still home, I didn't see a point in buying a big ass house or anything if I can live with my parents and not have to worry about anything but paying a few bills, then I figured I should just step out into a new level of independence so here I am" I smile
"Well I'll make sure you have the best time ever tonight" She smiles
The ride starts moving and the anticipation builds up in me more and more. It drops and screams are heard everywhere.
"WOOOOOOOH!" I yell
The ride turns to the right and I go sliding into Normani.
"Sorry" I laugh
It turns to the left and I slide back to the other end.
"Lo hold on to the bar before you hurt yourself" She laughs
It turns again and before I can grab the bar I'm sliding towards her.
"It's kinda fun" I smile
It starts to turn again and she wraps her arm around my waist, holding onto me tightly.
"It's kinda dangerous" She smiles
"Yea" I mumble, distracted by the fact that she's holding onto me
The ride ends and we spend hours on other rides, the area with majority of the rides start to close so we go to the other side where there's booth games and like 4 other rides that are more intense.
"You ever been on this side?" She asks
I shake my head and she grabs my hand.
"Come on it'll be great" She says
We spend a few more hours there then leave since it's getting really late according to her.
"What time is it?" I ask
"It's almost 3, I don't wanna leave my sister by herself this late, sorry" She says
"It's fine, I totally understand but can we stop by a drive thru on the way?" I ask
She agrees and my driver arrives within minutes, we stop by Wendy's then proceed to her apartment after I had to convince her to not pay me back for the food.
"How was today?" She asks
"Really fun! I got to do more than the other times I went, it was a day I'll never forget and I owe it all to you" I say
"That's good" She smiles
We pull up to her apartment and I follow her, deciding to walk her up. We hug goodbye and once I'm in the truck I pull out the pictures we took at one of the booths.
