Knocks hit the door again and I cut my eyes from him to look in the peephole. I open it and in comes Lauren with a bag of food, she places it on the kitchen counter then walks over to me and wraps her arms around my torso, resting her head on my shoulder.
"What's wrong? Who's that?" She asks, sensing my mood
"That's Quincy" I sigh
"You're still being difficult after all this time Normani!" He yells
"Boohoo get over it, get out my apartment Quincy" I say while rolling my eyes
