A Day Together

As I woke up, my alarm started to go off. I loved listening to Rebecca Sugar sing this song for such a beautiful show she made herself. I kept thinking about how "mature" I am for watching Steven Universe, but not care, because I start to sing along.

I then get out of the guest bed, and go to take a shower. After I finished, I put together my outfit. Torn blue jeans, galaxy tank top with a criss-cross back, short black boots. Dang I'm good at outfit planning! Gotta do my hair now. I put in the curling iron, fix my hair with gentle curls, and sprayed my hair with hairspray. I looked at myself again.

Man, this is gonna be interesting.

As I run out the door, I tell the family where I was going. Aunt Laurie teased, Uncle James gave me a thumbs up, and Isaac just yelled, "Go get 'em, Y/N!"

I sat at the bus stop and waited for the bus. As I waited, I pulled out my phone and headphones. I sent a text to Seán saying I was on my way. I put in my headphones, and played "Love like you" again. I loved this song today for some odd reason.

As the bus pulled up to a stop, I got on as fast as I could. When I sat down, I looked back at my phone, looking at the song playing. I start it over from the beginning, and sang. I sang loud enough for the others to hear it slightly. As I got to the chorus, I began to sing louder. I closed my eyes so that I couldn't see the others on the bus.

As the song came to an end, I heard applause. I opened my eyes to see the whole crowd of people smiling, cheering, and clapping. I look among the crowd and see a bunch of young children and teens gave the most applause. Young adults were giving me warm smiles as I took off my headphones. One of the people, who was wearing a pair of black sunglasses, had a very familiar smile. He stood up and gave me a huge round of applause. He then came near me at my seat.

"Is this seat taken?" Asked the man.

"Not at all." I say letting him sit down.

As he sat down, I noticed a strange mark on his arm.

"Umm, excuse me, but is that a tattoo?" I ask glancing at his arm.

"Why yes it is." He pulled up his sleeve to reveal a very familiar tattoo. He then takes off his sunglasses, revealing his ocean blue eyes.

"Seán?" I finally utter.

"Not a good disguise?" He asked taking the hood of his jacket off, showing his green hair.

"The tattoo gave it away." I say sarcastically.

He chucked at my response. "I didn't know you could sing Y/N."

"Well, we just met yesterday. We don't know a lot of personal things about each other yet."

"I guess that's true. Well, mabey we can change that." He said.

As we went to the coffee house, we talked on and on about things we liked and told jokes. I told him about BF/N, and how he/she is a college professor in English, about Isaac and his family, and how I love to ride horses and play videogames. He told me about Mark, Wade, and Bob, about how busy Wade is with wedding planning, and how he was going to try to get to America for the wedding.

A few minutes later, we are at the counter ordering our drinks.

"Hi. How may I help you two today?" Asked the barista behind the counter.

"Umm, I'll just have a black coffee with cream and sugar please." Seán ordered.

"Sure thing dude. What about you my good lady?" He asked with a slight gleam in his eye.

"How about a white hot chocolate please?" I ask politely.

"Anything for you my beauty." He said turning just after giving Seán a glare.

I look over at Seán. He was giving the man a bad look with a slight groan.

"You ok Seán?" I ask.

"Yeah Y/N, I'm fine." He said still glaring that guys way.

The barista then turned around and gave us our drinks.

"Anything I can do for you?" He asked turning around.

"Actually, yes, can you-" Seán began.

"Was I looking at you?" He smarted off. He then looked at me. "Well beautiful? How about it?"

"How about what?" I say now glaring at him.

"How about you give me your number so we can... get to know each other better." He said with a flirty grin.

"I'm sorry..." I say turning to Seán and kissing his cheek lightly. "But I am currently seeing someone." I grab our drinks and gave him one last glare. I then grabbed Seán's arm, and walked out the door. I gave Seán his coffee and looked at him. He was blushing and looking at me with wonder.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked him, brushing back my hair.

"N-No. I just wasn't expecting what just happened back there." He said still looking at me shocked.

"Which part? The guy that was a total jerk or my response to his question?"

"All of it. Mostly the kiss on the cheek if I'm perfectly honest."

"O-Oh!"

Shoot!

"I guess now's a good time to tell you I've never done that before." I said with a nervous chuckle.

"Heh. I was kinda gonna ask you something, Y/N, but I feel like that answered my question." He said looking down.

"Well don't just leave me in suspense! What were you gonna ask me?"

"Well, uhm... I was.. Uh... Wondering if you were... Uhm... Single? By any chance Y/N?"

"Yeah. I am actually." I answer blushing. "Mabey we can do more stuff like this sometime. Just, ya know, without the flirty baristas."

"Sounds like a date." He said with his blush growing brighter.

"Great! Mabey you can meet my family sometime Seán."

"That'd be great. And ,Y/N, you can just call me Jack." He said as we continued our walk.

There we go guys! Sorry it's been taking so long to write this. I want to make this a greatly detailed story. Either way, next chapter is once again in Jack's POV only. Enjoy! Boi!!
