Before the Dinner Party

Before I got ready for dinner, I grabbed Isaac's arm, and took him back to the family horse ranch. I saved up my money over the years for something that I knew would make him happy. And with Jack's help, I was finally able to get it for him.

"What are we doing here Y/N?" Isaac asked, "I thought that we have to leave soon?"

"We do," I reply, "But I need to give you your on-time birthday present."

As I took him into the barn, I showed him a new horse that was in the barn. It was a brown and white stallion that seemed fit for a race.

"He's beautiful!" Isaac yelled rushing over to the new horse. "What's his name?"

"Whatever you want it to be." I say handing him his new saddle. "I hope one day you win a race with this bad boy."

"You mean-"

"He's a racing stallion. He's your racing stallion."

With those few words, I saw his face light up. His dream was to become a great horse racer. Now, that dream can finally come true.

"How did you even have the money to afford him?" He asked still admiring his new horse.

"I've been saving up money for the past few years. When I told Seán about what I was saving my money for, he gave me the last few hundreds I needed. He's a big part of your birthday present, but don't tell him you know yet. He wanted me to take the responsibility of the whole present."

"Y/N, he really helped out with this?"

"Yes, yes he did. But, you'll find out more about him when we go to dinner."

Wait a second...

"DINNER! HOLY POTATOES! We need to get ready!"

We then got the perfect idea: to get home, we'll race home. Saddling up our horses, we set ourselves up to ride back.

"Ready old girl?" I ask nuzzling Lucy, getting a neigh back.

"Ready bud?" Isaac asked his new horse, getting a stomp back in response.

We got on our horses, and counted down.

And we were off.

At the house, we all were dressed and waiting on Genevieve and Jax. I fixed my Y/H/C hair and sat there impatiently. Soon, a pair of twins walked into the room.

"Sorry for making you all wait." Genevieve said with her British innocence.

"It was her fault." Jax remarked with the same British voice.

"Jax, that didn't work when you were six, doesn't work when you're twenty-three." Earnest responded. Even though we trust his honest opinions, his Scottish accent makes anything serious sound silly.

"I live near the same hotel you two are in, and yet I made it on time." Thomas joked. His suave Irish ways made his joke seem a little snarky, but we all appreciated his jokes.

"And yet, you took the longest to get dressed." Mary joked at Thomas. Mary and Thomas are roommates, since they both tolerate each other's sense of sarcasm.

"Come on!" Joanna interrupted. "We're forgetting something important here: our little Y/N's boyfriend is gonna have dinner with us!"

"Woah there my naïve Irish cousin!" I say turning to this beautiful young cousin of mine. "He's not my boyfriend. We just met a few days ago."

"I can't help but imagine you with this mystery man Y/N! I bet it's true love!"

"What do you mean 'true love'?" I ask. "Okay, I'm guessing you've spent too many years in modelling, because all the makeup you've been wearing had finally gone to your brain."

"Well, we'll see when we get there. Now, let's head off."

Jax, Genevieve, Thomas, and Mary went in one car while me, Isaac, and Earnest went in another. As Earnest drive us there, I began to daydream again. I saw Seán sitting across from me at a table with only me and him. He had a nice suit on with a small red rose in his hand to give to me. He had a look of nervousness in his eyes, like he was afraid of something he was about to do.

"Y/N?" I heard Isaac say, looking at me from the front seat. I snapped out of it, and looked at my cousins.

"Daydreaming again?" Earnest asked.

"Yeah. But I'll be okay. Are we there yet?"

"Almost. Just a little while to go Y/N." Isaac answered.

The next chapter will be Jack's POV again. This will be really hard to do with so many characters in one chapter.
