How Can This Work

I ran back to Isaac's house, bursting through the door.

"Hey, Y/N, how'd the date go?" Isaac asked.

I didn't answer. I just ran into my room, and changed clothes. I put on pajamas, took down my bun, and washed off my make up. I looked at my clean face. I touched my lips, still feeling Seán's lips on mine. The kiss was amazing! I just wanted to stay there forever.

Exotic Butters

My phone went off with it's silly notification sound. It was a text from Y/BFF/N. I forgot all about him/her!

BFF/N: Hey. We are all missing you back home!
Me: I miss you guys too! How's Roscoe?
BFF/N: He's fine. He misses you alot.
Me: Awww! My poor little kitty!
BFF/N: Well, he won't be missing you too long. You'll be coming home tomorrow night right?

That's right. My vacation here is going to end tomorrow. That means I'm going to have to leave Ireland, leave Isaac, and leave... Him...

I felt tears well up my eyes. The thought of leaving here just seemed awful. Why now? Why do I have to leave this place now?!

BFF/N: Are you still there?

I cried a little as I looked at the text.

Me: Yeah... I'm still here. I'll be home late tomorrow.
BFF/N: Great! See you tomorrow!

I put my phone away, and started to pack up. My plushies were out in first. Especially the Sammy Septiceye plush. I didn't want to think about him right now. Then my shirts, underwear, shorts, and dresses. I only had two to pack: my dress for Isaac's dinner party, and the dress I wore tonight for my date with Seán.

I packed them in gently; as I closed the suitcase, I kept seeing moments of me and Seán being together. When we first met, when we went to the coffee shop, him being nice to me when we had dinner with Isaac, our dance, our kiss... All of those moments just kept flooding my head.

Knock knock

I brushed my tears away.

"Come in!" I said.

Isaac opened the door, looking concerned.

"Hey," Isaac said, "Are you alright? You can up here so quick you never answered my question."

"S-Sorry. Uhm, what did you ask again?"

"How'd the date go?"

"It was great. I-" I froze mid sentence. "I didn't want it to end."

"Woah! Are you sure your okay?"

"Huh?" I felt my cheek. It was wet with tears.

"Did he hurt you?"

"No! Seán would never do that!"

"Then why are you crying?"

"Because I have to say goodbye."
