" it sounds like it came from over here." I awoke to a young voice, as a face appeared from around a pillar. It was a queer creature with a face like a goat, but softer. Yeah the ears of a rabbit but cuter. He had a body like mine, only rounder and furrier. His face wrinkled with worry. "Oh! You've fallen down haven't you?"  said as he inched over to me. "Are you okay?" He held out his hand. "Here, get up."

"I'm fine, thanks." I said, brushing golden petals off myself. "I'm chara, by the way."

"Chara, huh? That's a nice name. My name is Asriel. Asriel Dreemurr." He replied.

Hearing footsteps behind me I twirled around, knife raised, only to find it was another goat, this one older and bearing small horns.

Asriel, what was......?" She trailed off.

"Mom this is Chara!" Replied Asriel excitedly. "She's a human!"

"Oh! Greetings Chara. I am Queen Toriel." She said, glancing at my weapon, still pointed at her. I lowered the knife slowly.

"Did you fall Chara?" Asked Asriel squinting upwards into the blinding sun.

"Yes but I'm not planning on going back." I said with a scowl.

"Oh! Then you can stay with us, right Mom?" He asked.

Toriel nodded, walking towards us. " I do not see why not. Do not worry My Child; we would take very good care of you."

I smiled graciously, "Yes, that would be very nice."
