The bell rang as the kids pushed through the front doors of the school. Middle schoolers scurried of to class while the High schoolers lingered in the hallways chatting by lockers, making out in the bathroom, and leaning against the walls doing nothing. Mason was putting his textbooks in his locker when the tall stranger from before ambled up to him. "Hey,kid," he said with a smirk on his face " can u tell me where the principles office is?" Mason grumbled angrily as he said "kid" and pointed down a hallway to the left of him. "It's down there." Mason said trying not to look up at his blue eyes. The tall, asshole-ish stranger half sprinted down the direction Mason pointed. After he got a few yards away from Mason he turned around and shouted "Names Cole by the way!" Then the stranger who we now know is named Cole, turned back around and disappeared down the hallway. Mason shrugged and headed to class. Two boring periods go by, and there has been no sign of that asshole guy "Cole" anywhere. Then in third period, right when Mr.Knox, the science teacher, is about to do role call, Cole bursts in. He kind of crashes through the door and accidentally knocks over the trash can. "Whoops." He laughs, and goes to pick it up with a goofy smile on his face. His face is beat red like he just ran a marathon or something. After the trashy mess of the tipped over trash can is picked up, Cole nods to the teacher and sits down at the desk next to Mason. Mason gives him a weird look and stares down at his desk, and scribbles a little star on the corner of it. Cole just smirks at him in response and puts his feet up on top of the desk. Several kids sitting in the front of the classroom look back and forth between Mason and Cole suspiciously then turn away to wait for the teacher to take attendance. Mr. Knox just rolls his eyes and begins to call out students names. After about 14 "here"s, including Mason's unenthusiastic "hey", Cole's name is called. "Cole Evergreen?" Mr.Knox asks clearly questioning the strange last name. "Sup" Cole looks up and says, doing finger guns at him.
