PS: I know Akashi's Emperor Eye came out only after things effed up in the Teiko B-ball team, but for my convenience's sake (lolz) let's just pretend he always had them (considering that having it has always been his actual nature as revealed in the Last Game). Although it's not yet that powerful during this time frame. I'm trying to let their characteristics stay the same as much as possible though. Thanks!
Akashi's POV:
I know what people see when they look at me - a controlling and merciless captain. And it's true. During practices and matches, I have to be the kind of captain that will bring the team to victory. But as controlling as I am, there is one person I find very hard to control. Aomine Daiki - my ace.
Aomine's POV:
Akashi should calm down. It's not like I'm gonna lose in the next game.
"Focus Aomine!"
He definitely needs to chill. I only looked at him and nodded. "Yeah, yeah."
Maybe I should teach him how to chill. His angry face is giving me a hard on. I smirked at him. "Captain, no one can defeat me but me."
Omniscient POV:
Akashi was well aware of it, but their ace was getting too cocky. Someone needs to teach him a lesson. Too bad it was a captain's job. "One on one Aomine. You will follow my orders as your captain after I win."
Aomine laughed. "If you can win." And he dribbled the ball as he weaved in a fast zigzag.
The other Generation of Miracles did not wait for the next act. The match was too good to miss. Their captain and their ace. Definitely worth interrupting their practice. Besides, it was nearly time for their 20 minutes break.
"I bet on Aominicchi." Kise smiled, remembering how their ace was his first real friend.
"He doesn't stand a chance. Akashi will win." Midorima said in a sure tone.
"Aomine's my light, but Akashi will win this. He taught me good basketball." Kuroko seconded.
"Eh?! What do you think Murasakibaracchhi?" Kise asked his other teammate who was enjoying a bag of chips.
*crunch. *crunch. "Eh? Aka-chin without question..." And he filled his mouth with a handful of crispy chips.
Aomine's POV:
"I will win." Akashi started. "I am absolute."
Sure you are, I wanted to say, but it wouldn't help me in anyway. "Absolutely mine is what you are." I smirked and used his surprise as a leverage. I'm gonna score first and win this easily.
I know Akashi has his eyes, so I could only push my strength and speed to keep up with him.
I was about to raise my arms for a 2-pointer when he was suddenly standing right in front of me, the ball stopped as if it glued on his palm. I couldn't move.
"My victory." Was all he whispered as he stole the ball from me and scored.
Oh well, it wouldn't be fun if Akashi was easy prey. Not that I'm willing to let him win in everything.
"Aominecchi! Stand up!" Kise was waving his hands like an idiot.
I stood and wiped the sweat from my brows. "Oi Ryouta, wanna take my place?"
Kise laughed. "Not in this game Aominecchi." And continued to act like a kid.
"Focus Aomine!" Akashi shouted from the other side of the court. He had the ball in one hand, dribbling it without looking. "Can you even score a point?"
