9.) The Chase!

Chara

Come on!! Can't a girl catch a break!!? Staring down the end of Undynes glowing spear she smirks. Before undyne says anything Frisk steps out from around the corner and freezes. Undyne turns a bit red around the gills when she looks at Frisk. I look out of the corner of my eye at Frisk. She's holding a couple of my shirts...but what undyne is blushing at isn't the extra clothes. FRISK FORGOT ABOUT HER PANTS!! They were still unzipped and unbuttoned. And holding clothes was NOT helping out situation. I look back at undyne who just keeps looking from me to Frisk and back. Undyne tries to nod her head at frisks pant in an effort that shell get the hint. She doesn't, obviously.  Frisk cocks her head to the side a bit as Undyne point her spear from me to Frisks pants. *ahem* Frisk looks down and turns cherry red "I-It's not what it looks like!!!" She squeaks out. Cute. Now's our chance. I grab Frisk scooping her up and running at a full sprint away from Undyne. I head towards hotland knowing the drill. I wonder how this'll effect the run? Hah!

Frisk

Oh gaaaaawwwwd!!!! Noooooo!!!! Not Undyne! I completely forgot she was looking for us! Chara keeps running as fast as she can with me in her arms. I hear her breathing get heavier. * I can run too ya know?!* Chara shakes her head. *Not as fast as me.* I roll my eyes *Okay sure. But I can still outrun Undyne....or do you just like holding me this close?* I wink at my last comment. We stop and she sets me down. Too easy. "Come on I'll run with you fast enough to outrun Undyne." I giggle. *Chara your face is red* She looks at me "Because I've been running you dunce!" I smile at her words. Suuuure, she just never gives up on her 'tough guy' routine does she? We smile at each other for a second while she catches her breath. "NYAAAAA!!" Undyne leaps out of nowhere spoiling the moment. She aims her spear at us, and summons others. Well shoot. "I don't know what's going on but you're HUMANS so it doesn't matter much!" Our soul turns green and we are pulled into battle.

Chara

Well that was easy! As soon as the chance comes we break for it. The momentary lax in Undynes concentration was all that was needed to let us run for it. I grab Frisks hand as our soul changed from green to red. We keep running until we run into monster kid. Oops guess we did kinda miss a step or two back there huh? Shouldn't have stayed in that cave for so long. Though we couldn't have known undyne would travel so far. "Yo! Have you seen her?!" I ignore MK' s question and pick him up running. "Hey kid undyne is chasing us right now so if you stay behind us you could get hurt!" Luckily my instincts were right and she stopped throwing spears after I picked MK up. "No way Yo! That's so cool!" He grins at me and struggles a little as we run. Ok this kids hard to carry! "Dude! Quit wiggling I don't wanna drop you!" He frowns and whines. "But I wanna meet undyne yo!" Fine I stop for half a second and set him down to keep running. Undyne wouldn't actually hurt MK right? I look behind me to see undyne getting closer to where MK is and he starts to run to her. Before I look back in front of me MK trips and falls off the bridge, barely catching himself by his teeth, literally! Hes hanging there by his mouth and before I can think I see frisk in a full on Sprint towards him, and Undyne!! What the hell!!? Undyne would be helped him! Right? Actually yeah frisk probably had the right idea. I turn on my heel and follow after my Frisk. If anything I have to follow to help Frisk. I watch as she reached MK just in time catching him by a horn and lifting him up. She looks at me proud and I smile running slightly slower. Undyne on the other hand quts running all together and just looks at Frisk confused. I pick up the pace and stand in front of Frisk ready for another fight before she walks away confused and muttering to herself.*well that went well huh?* I grin and nod at her. We're sweating and I take another shirt off only having one on feels weird. I blush a little as I stash it in my inventory with the others. "Yo! That was so cool yo! Thanks for saving me like that!" Frisk smiles and nods at him. "Come on we still gotta move since she's probably gonna be back." I look at MK and frown, he has no arms. He looks up at me and backs up. "You're really cool! I'm Monster kid!" "Chara and Frisk is the squinty eyed midget who saved you." Frisk glares at me opening one eye before waving at MK and smiling. "Yo! I'm gonna go if that's ok!" MK looked pretty serious so we just nodded as he ran ahead tripping a couple times but picking himself up and continuing. "C'mon Frisk. We better get past the rest of Waterfall. We both know we gotta fight Undyne one more time." I grit my teeth at her name. She couldve killed my Frisk! *ok Chara, let's go. We gotta get to the next bridge and meet MK there. Then we'll get going to hotland* I nod and we continue on.

Frisk

After walking for what felt like forever we made it to the place I've always met undyne for the last fight. Chara seemed a bit angry about it. *Chara? You ok?* she nods and smiles at me forcibly. *sigh* she doesn't want to talk about it I guess. As I think on this it comes to mind that we are almost to Hotland! I smile remembering how warm it is there. I can't wait to meet Alyphys and Mettaton again! They're so nice and super funny. As I'm daydreaming about the past Chara wraps one of her arms around my stomach from behind and pulls me into her narrowly avoiding a spear coming at us. "Forget we were still being hunted?" I blush as she continues to hold me against her. All I can think about is how soft her chest is, How her strong arm is wrapped around me and the warmth of her body. I look up at Chara leaning my head back.
"C-C-Chara we should
p-p-probably run." She smirks down at me her natural blush deepening slightly "Yeah..." She scoops me up in her arms bridal style and jumps forward away from another spear. She sets me down and grabs my hand pulling me forward as we run from undyne and her spears. I know I should be worried about the impending death bounding after us but all I can think about is Chara. She's holding my hand, the wind in her hair makes her look amazing and heroic, when she turns to look behind her at me she smiles and it makes her seem otherworldly... She she is completely unfazed, seeming to enjoy the chase even! I laugh a little at her smile. I Love this girl. I love this so much. *I love you Chara* I laugh loudly as she stumbles a bit at my words in her head. She looks ahead, but I catch the blush as before she can hide it. So cute. As we reach a certain point Undyne jumps out of nowhere and lands in front of us yelling a battle cry. "NNNNNYYYYYAAAAAAAAAGGHH!!!" And then Chara laughed. I don't know why but she did and i couldn't help but smile. Chara was tearing up, "What the fuck was that!?! Hahaha!!" Chara was laughing hysterically. Undyne blanched at Charas reaction "it's a war cry." Chara just keeps laughing as undyne blushes angrily. "Can't you do it normally?!!? Oh my gawd!!" I giggle at Charas reaction while undyne just glares at us. Chara calms down while undyne rants about monsters and their hopes and dreams. Undyne pulls our soul green and pulls us into battle with another war cry. But all I can hear is the beautiful laughter coming from Chara.
