Kennedy

I plopped down on my bed tired from such a long day of work. Now that Carter is the new boss, he has changed a lot of things and I'm like his personal assistant since I was one for Miranda.

Let's just say that Carter might drive me to the edge. And now here I am, finishing this article that I have to wrote for the new 'Rolling Out' magazine. Just a couple months ago I got 'Rolling Out' to sign to us.

I've interviewed big stars like Mindless Behavior and Beyoncé. Then all I have to due is just write an article and that's where my money comes in at.

I closed my computer and then just laid back and relaxed on my bed. I know a perfect way to end this day off for me. I went downstairs and into the fridge looking for some ice-cream but I came face to face with a almost empty fridge. I rolled my eyes and walked upstairs to put on some clothes. Looks like I need to do grocery shopping.

I pulled up into the parking lot of Public. I was driving behind this lady that was on her phone and was blocking my way from getting this parking space. Gosh! After she finally moved I pulled into the parking space right next to this nice Escalade truck.

I got out of my car, walking up to the automatic doors. Once I got in I grabbed a buggy and started shopping away.

Messiah

I was shopping for my mom at Public's when I seen mystery girl from the club walked through the doors. I smirked to myself remembering that if I saw her again she would give me her number.

I scrolled my buggy up beside her smirking. She looked at me and smiled while rolling her eyes.

"So we meet again." I spoke first grabbing some veggie's for my mom.

"Or, you could just be stalking me." She giggled. Damn that was cute. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Maybe..." She looked at me with a scared expression on her face, "I'm kidding, I'm just doing some shopping for my moms".

She sighed, "Thank god!"

She started looking at the food items and I took this time to check her out. She looked pretty laid back today. Hair tied up, glasses on, no makeup, and just some sweats. The fact is that she still looked good wearing that.

"So...you know I get your number this time right." She laughed and turned around.

"I was waiting for you to ask." She flirted. I smiled.

"Well may I have your number." I took her hand and kissed the palm of it. See I just have that special charm.

"Phone." I gave it to her while she put her number in. She gave it back once she was done and I noticed her name was Kennedy. Nice name. Reminds me of my mom's name Kendra.

"So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime." She looked at me and shrugged.

"Yeah, fine by me." She smiled and walked off.

I know I have my saying but something in my gut is just telling me that she is different and important. I want to make it my mission to get to know her.

I shook out of my thoughts when I felt my phone ringing in my hand. The call was blocked but I answered it anyways.

"Ayy' King this Dee.". Dee is one of my homies that I do business with. We run this whole street thing together. We grew up together so I trust him with everything.

"Wassup' fam'!"

"I'm good, but imma' need you to get to the warehouse Asap'." He spoke angered. I instantly got mad because I knew something done gone down at the warehouse.
