I sat up in the choir stands watching everybody come into to church to worship god on this lovely Sunday. I laughed a little when I saw my sister wobble her big behind into the church. She was glowing and looking happy as ever.
"Let the church say Amen" Paster Johnson spoke.
"Amen"
"Now we will have a song by one of our, Sister Kennedy" I smiled and stood up walking over to the mic. The rest of the choir stood up also.
"Morning everybody." I smiled as the music started playing.

The church clapped and praised as I finished. I looked to my sister and she gave me thumbs up.
I went and sat back down as the pastor starting to preach.After service was over, I went out to eat with my sister and her boyfriend. We were currently talking about her baby shower.
"I can't wait, it's going to be so fun. Mom and dad said they might come."
"What?!?" I exclaimed. She jumped. " I can't face them if they come after all these years."
It's been hard without my parents and now for me to just see them all of a sudden what am I suppose to say. They disowned me so I'm just nothing to them. They didn't even bother to check on me.
"Kennedy, but I do want my parents and I want my only sister there." I shook my head. I can't and won't do it.
"Well i'll help out but if they are coming then sorry sis' I can't come." She rolled her eyes.
