Kennedy

I opened the doors to the salon and walked in. I smiled as laughter eroded within' the place, knowing that I was going to have a good time here.

My heels clicked against the tile Floors which made some girls look over at me.

"Kennedy!" Maria exclaimed. See Maria works here and I let here do my hair because she is actually pretty good.

I smiled, "Hey darling. You free?"

She nodded so I went over to her chair and sat down in it. She started combing her hands through my hair joining back into the conversation.

"Y'all, look at Miss Kennedy looking fabulous as always." Jaden, One of Maria's co-workers complimented as he checked me out. Jaden was surely fine but gay and all the ladies were cool with it here. I laughed.

"Well, I can't just go out of the house looking like a rag doll. I have to represent us ladies." I explained. All the girls muttered things agreeing with me.

"Yes girl, these men don't know a good women when they have one." A beautiful girl that was sitting underneath the drier said. About everybody in the salon nodded their heads.

"No, now I disagree. There are men out there that know who to treat a lady right but you just have to find him." Maria argued. She tapped my shoulder signaling me to get up and follow her. I did and we walked over to the washing station. I sat down in the chair and leaned my hair back.

"So you ready for tonight?" She explained and giggled. I laughed.

"I guess. Nothing really special is going to happen anyways." I closed my eyes as she starting washing my hair.

"Come on Kennedy, I wanna' take you somewhere." He said as he opened out his arms for me to jump down. My parents were sleep in their room so I locked my door and put on soft music to make it seem like I was sleep.

I looked down at him scared of what was about to happen next but I jumped down. The whole time I closed my eyes and next I was landed safety in his arms. Gosh, this boy got me doing all types of things.

He let me down as we walked to his car. I got in the passenger's seat. I looked back to see Teddy, his girlfriend, and another girl in the back. I waved to them as Jackson pulled off.

We arrived to the square where all the teens hung out on Saturday nights. I unhooked my seatbelt as I waited for Jackson to opened the door but he went to open mystery girl door which was right behind him. I rolled my eyes and jumped out of the car.

Jackson and mystery girl had been talking the whole time while we were walking around. So I just wandered off because he wanted paying me any attention.

I walked to the section where music was playing and people were dancing. I grabbed me a drank and started swaying my hips to the beat of the song Body Party x Ciara. In the middle of the song two hands were placed on my waist but I just kept dancing. I looked around and saw Jackson and that girl dancing together like what the hell.

I turned around mad, and looked at who was dancing with me. He smiled.

"What's you name?"

"Carter"

"Well I have to go but nice dancing with you." , And I walked off before he could respond. I walked over to Jackson.

"I'm ready to leave." , I said annoyed. He rolled his eyes.

"Well I ain't so you can go sit your little ass down and wait." I huffed and rolled my eyes. I was not about to wait so I walked home which took like an hour. And later on the night I got grounded for sneaking out.
