Ever since Zayn and Luna went out to the lake that one morning things has changed between the two. Well, not entirely but it's a working progress.

They got comfortable with each other that early morning. Luna and Zayn talked for a while until the sun started to come up. That's when it became quiet and they had their attention on the sky with different colors decorating it. The view was beautiful and it brought peace to both of them.

And now it was Monday, a gloomy Monday to be exact. The sun wasn't out today and the grey clouds covered the sky. It wasn't cold or anything, just a bit chilly.

"Zayn I'm headed out, do you want to come with?" Luna asks softly.

"T-To..wheerree?" Zayn slightly frowned.

"To class silly," Luna giggled. "I was wondering if you'd walk with me."

He looked down shaking his head, "Ug..m-maybe..no."

"Maybe no? But why Zayn?" She pouted.

"N-Not..not good idea, s'okay?" He says a bit firmly, hoping that she would get the message. It's not that he doesn't like her, and it's because he has certain issues when it came to people.

"Okay," she sighed. "See you later then."

When the door closed Zayn let out a deep sigh. He knew why he didn't want her and him to walk together. Because it happened in the past.

In sophomore year he had a good friend, his name was Harry. Zayn and Harry were actually really good friends and they got along great. Well until one time some jocks thought it would he funny to pick on a autistic kid. The jocks swarmed around him and started pushing him around and that formed a crowd. And just as when he was going to call out Harry's name, Zayn saw that he was standing outside the crowd just watching. Soon enough, he just turned away and they never spoke again after that.

It really hurt him to see his friend walk away when he was need of help. That's why Zayn isn't social, he has deep trust issues when it comes to people. And as hard as he tries, he doesn't want those issues to get in the way of being with Luna.

Later on sophomore year there was a girl named Selena. She was quite poplar too. They were friends for a while until they were walking to class. It was a similar incident with Harry. What happened is that people started to stare, gossip, and make rumors about them two. It seems like Selena cared about her reputation more than Zayn. A couple days later, he never heard from her again.

Going through that was hard. Being rejected or being pushed out of everybody's lives just because he is slightly different hurts him. Zayn has been bullied, and those memories still haunts him every time he steps foot out that door. He just hopes that it'll get better soon, he wished hard.

Sighing, he decided that he would get ready for class today. Zayn took a shower and got dressed in some jeans and a dark green sweater. He made sure to grab his dorm keys and his backpack, after that he headed out.

"Hey Zayn," Louis chirped when he saw his campus buddy walk by. He decided to walk with him.

"Louiiss," Zayn groaned, it was too early in the morning to be talking to this guy.
