Simple Text Message// Michael Clifford [Slow Updates]

It has been a while isn't since I last uploaded a chapter. I'm sorry, I'll be updating this story quite slowly. I hope you understand!

I'm so bored. I really miss Michael. I miss the silence we spend together. I can't wait till the tour is over. Cause I hate being bored.

My thoughts get interrupted by someone knocking on my door. I sigh in frustration and get up. I open the door and see a random stranger, with a dog, standing there. "Hi there. I just moved in next door, so I thought to introduce myself. I'm Daniel." He says. "Please come in, I'm Ray." I say, letting the guy I just met in. Normally, I wouldn't do that, but I'm trying to change.

"This is Skip, by the way." The man, or should I say Daniel, says. "He's so cute. Is he a Labrador?" I ask as I bent down to hug him. "Yes he is. Do you love dogs?" He asks. "Yeah, they're so energetic and loyal." I say. "They are." Daniel says.

Michael's POV
I wake up frantically. I knew this was going to happen. I had a nightmare. "Michael? Why are you up?" I'm guessing I woke up Ashton. "I need to call, Ray." I say, looking for my phone. "Michael, what the heck are you doing?" I woke up Luke now. Only Calum and then we're complete. "I have to call Ray." I say, finally finding my phone. But it gets taken away. "Not until you tell us what's wrong!" Ashton says as he puts MY phone in his pocket. "I don't wanna talk about it." I say. "It's three in the morning! You normally don't call someone at this time." Calum says. I really don't want to explain anything.

"I have this feeling that something's going on back home." I say, I don't want to deal with the same thing I did a few years ago. "Is this about her?" Luke asks. "No, Ray would never do such a thing." I say. "That's exactly what you said the last time. But you were wrong then." Luke says. "That's why I need to call her." I say. Ashton sighs, giving me my phone back.

Ray's POV
Daniel and I had a great conversation about dogs, when I suddenly get a phone call. By Michael. That's odd. "Sorry, I should take this" I tell Daniel. "Mikey? Isn't it three in the morning in Europe?" I ask. "Yes it is, just wanted to check on how you are doing." He says. "I'm doing great. But are you alright?" I ask. "Yeah, nothing's wrong." He says, he doesn't sound like himself. Something's going on.

"No, stay here." I hear Daniel say to Skip. The dog just wants to discover the place. "Who's that?" Michael asks. "Do you have a guy around?" He asks. Oh fûck. "Michael, he's my new neighbour." I reassure him. "Just a neighbour, huh?" This doesn't sound good. "I'm going back home." He says. "No, Mike..." and the lines goes dead. "Do you mind to leave now? I have some things to arrange." I tell Daniel. "Yeah sure, it was nice meeting you. I'll see you around." He says and I close the front door.

I try calling Michael again, but he won't pick up.

From Ashton;
Can you explain why Michael is packing his suitcases?

To Ashton;
I have this new neighbour who turns out to be a guy. I only invited him over to get rid of my anxiety a bit more and besides, he has a dog.

From Ashton;
Okay, Ray. I know Michael has never told you this, so I don't blame you. But you have to be careful when you're around other guys.

To Ashton;
Wtf, Ash! Why is Michael hiding something from me?

From Ashton;
If you would know, you'll understand him. The guys and I are trying to change Michael's mind. Don't worry about him, we'll tell you once we done it or once he's gone to the airport.

What the fûck is going on with Michael. I was having a friendly conversation with a neighbour, there's nothing wrong with that. I never thought he's that kind of guy. The guy who's possessive of his girlfriend and doesn't want her to be around boys he doesn't know and doesn't trust.

I still haven't heard from Michael or the other guys, I'm getting worried. But I'm also angry. Michael promised me that he won't keep a secret from me, like I promised him. But he already broke that promise. So, I'm a little bit disappointed too. I've tried calling Michael numerous times, but he doesn't pick up. So I left him voicemails and several text messages. I need explanation.

From Ashton;
We tried.

To Ashton;

Where's Michael?

From Ashton;
He left, he's on the plane back home. We tried stopping him, but when he truly wants do something, we can't stop him.

To Ashton;

At least you tried. But what'll happen with the tour?

From Ashton;
We're going to stay here because we have to explain everything to the manager. Maybe he'll say, we're gonna cancel the rest of the tour. We don't know yet.

They'll cancel the tour and because of me. Although it's not really sure. But knowing Michael, it'll happen. Guess I'm going to expect Michael knocking on my door soon.
