Permanently Gone (AHS Tate Langdon)

Away

I laid in my bed. It was around ten at night. I pretended to be asleep. Anything to stay away from my parents. I heard my door creak open. I lightly opened my eyes to see my mother standing there with a knife. She stood there for a second. Watching me. Until she eventually realized i was awake.

"How do you feel sweetie?" She asked. Her dark silhouette remaining in the doorway. "Any better..? " she asked.

"Uh.." i trailed off. "A little.." i croaked out.

"Im making some-" she cleared her throat. "Food. Want anything?" She asked.

"No thanks.." i muttered.

There was a long eary pause.

"Ok. Well get some rest sweetheart.." she said closing my door.

I shot up. I couldnt stand it anymore. The fear. So much fear. It was killing me. I stood up and grabbed a backpack. I started filling it with clothes and money. The only money i had. Which was about 40 bucks. I just had to get away for the night.

"Where are you going..?" I turned around to see Tate.

"I cant stay here.." i muttered as i continued to pack. "Im scared. " i said.

"You dont have to leave." He said.

"Yes i do tate. I have to go." I sighed. He didnt respond. He just stared at me silently. "Maybe not forever. Maybe just to clear my head. But ive got to get away from this house." I whispered.

"Okay.." he sadly whispered back.

I began putting on my converse.

"Come with me!" I said in a hushed tone so my mom wouldnt hear me. "We can go anywhere."

He shook his head as i began to put a hoodie on.

"I cant-" he started but i cut him off.

"Please Tate." I pleaded. "Your all ive got."

"Dont you think i wish i could?" He bitterly chuckled. "I dont want to loose you Alice. But i cant leave the house. No matter how much i try and no matter how much i want to."

I slung my backpack over my shoulder and went to my window. I opened it then turned back to Tate.
"Ill come back." I said.

"Promise?" He asked me.

"I promise." I said. I was about to turn to walk away but he stopped me grabbing me by my shoulders and pulling me closer to him. His hands went down to my waist and his lips crashed onto mine. His kiss was sweet and rough on my lips. I snaked my arms around his neck as he pulled me closer.

We pulled away and just took a second of looking into each others eyes. He hugged me.

"Goodbye Alice." He sadly said.

"Goodbye Tate." I mumbled as i turned around and climbed out the window. I climbed down using the vines that grew against the houses walls. Once i was down. I ran. I ran as far as i could. The only thing hiding me was the night. I came to a bus stop and waited.

I took a bus to downtown L.A. and walked around with no place to go until i came across a hotel, called the hotel cortez. The rooms were cheap so i decided to stay the night...

Hey wassup you guys. Sorry i know this is a short chapter. But i wanted to say that the next chapter merges with my other story called "Devils night" you dont really have to read it to understand the next chapter but it might help out a little.
