"Nicole, just hurry up and pick a dress already." said Jacob, as he was impatiently looking down at his Apple Watch.
"Stop rushing me jeez, I want this dress to be perfect!" I said, looking through a rack of dresses.
Spring break was almost over, and I wanted to look great, at the last party me and my best friend; Jacob were attending.
Then it's back to work, and being a adult, ehh.
"We've been here for at least 45 minutes and I'm starving" he groaned.
"Okay okay, I'll pick up the pace, sheesh" I said, as these two dresses caught my eye.
"Which one, the long flowy turquoise dress, or the simple & short teal two piece?" I asked, holding up he two dresses at him.
"Definitely the second one, its less fancy, and hot." he replied, while scanning the dress up & down.
"Less fancy & hot it is." I say, putting the first dress back as we make our way to the counter to pay.
"That'll be $65.97" the salesclerk said as I pulled out my wallet. I handed her $70.
"$4.03 is your change, enjoy the dress and have a nice day." she smiled, handing me the bag.
"Thank you, and you too!" I smiled, as me & Jacob exited the store.
We take the escalator down the huge mall, searching for something to eat.
My eyes instantly meet on the pretzel stand.
"Lets go get cinnamon pretzels!" I say excitedly. I haven't had one in a while.
"That sounds good right about now, lets go." he says as we made our way to the stand.
After standing in line for a few minutes, we order our snack, then leave the mall.

"So where are we going now?" Jacob asked, as I saw him scrolling on instagram, liking a bunch of girls pictures.
"First, we have to go pick up Natalie from day care, then I can drop you off." I said, stuffing the last cinnamon pretzel bit in my mouth, then starting the car.
He nodded and proceeded to scroll on instagram.
In case you haven't known, Natalie is my 4yr old daughter, yeah well people make mistakes, even though she's definitely not one. I'm 22, right now, & I was young and dumb and had her at 18.
Her Dad is of course the high school jock, which was the one and only; Leo Haxon. I just had to fall in love with him...then boom; one thing led to another & I became pregnant.
When he found out, it 'just so happens' that his parents and him were moving far out from town.
I guess his family, didn't want that on they're reputation.
Long story short, he comes around occasionally, to help me out with her.
Jacob was, and still is always there for me about the whole situation.
