"Natalie, come downstairs for supper sweetie!" I yelled, as I scurried around the house trying to get ready for the party in time.
"Coming Mommy!" she shouted.
It was already 7:18pm and Jacob would be here at 7:45.
Right now, I just got out of the shower, so I only had my robe on.
I head back to the bathroom to get dress.
I put on some lotion, deodorant & what not, then slip on my dress.
Next I plug in my curlers.
Suddenly my phone begins to ring from my bedroom.
That must be Jacob.
I dash out of the bathroom to retrieve my phone.
As I look at the caller id, it was Julie; my babysitter.
I slide my thumb across my phone to answer.
"Hey Julie, are you on your way?" I said.
"Yeah I was just calling to let you know I'm 10 minutes away." She replied.
"Okay great see you soon." I said in a hurry.
She said bye and I hung up, then I quickly started curling my hair.
Afterwards I did my makeup, and head downstairs.
"Natalie are you almost finished with your food?" I ask as I enter the kitchen.
"Yes." She replies as she stuffs the last bit in her mouth with a spoon.
"Okay, come sit in the living room for Mommy because Julie is gonna come over for the night."
"Yay!" She smiles, as she makes her way to the living room.
It's about 7:40 now so Jacob should be pulling up soon.
I go to my coat closet to get my white heels, when I don't see them."
"Damn it." I mumble as I search around for them.
Ding Dong.
"Mommy it's Julie! It's Julie!" I hear Natalie yell, as she in the window.
I let Julie in.
"Hi Julie, thanks again for doing this." I say and give Escher a friendly hug.
"Anytime." She grins.
"Julie!!" Natalie says as she pounces into her.
"Hey I missed you munchkin!" She smiles picking her up.
"I missed you too, come on we can play dress up now!" She says, pointing towards the stairs.
"Okay but let's say bye to Mommy first." She suggests, as she puts Natalie down.
"Bye Mommy, I love you." She smiles as she gives me a tight hug.
"I love you too butterfly, now go have fun!" I say as I give her a quick kiss.
Julie waves goodbye as they head upstairs.
As soon as they left Jacob came right through the front door.
"Oh hey besto." I say.
"Hey Nic, you ready because we're gonna be late." He says, playing with his fingers.
He looked handsome.
He was wearing a blue button up, with some kakis & a pair of speedy.
His hair was all fluffed up and cute & he smelled nice.
"Yeah, but I can't find my heels I've been searching everywhere." I huff, as I kneel down to look under the sofa.
"Uh, Nicole? Did you check by the coat rack because they're right there." He says, looking at the heels.
"Yes, thank god there they are." I say swooping them up, & putting them on quickly.
I grab my purse, and locked the door as we exit.
"Spring break party here we come!" I chant.
Before we get into Jacobs's car he stops me.
I furrow my eyebrow.
"What?" I ask confusedly.
"You know I have to get a picture of my best friend for the snap." He smirked.
I playfully roll my eyes.
"Of course you do."
He pulls out his phone.
"I've got the best pose." I say as I grab his hand & smile.
He took the picture and as we get in the car, he captions it & shows it to me.

"It's Nicole not 'Niccy'". I whine.
"You know I call you that sometimes."
"Well don't." I say nudging his shoulder.

"Jacob don't have sex with anyone tonight, you remember what happened last time." I said as we're getting close to the location.
"Well that guy should've have had his chick under control, she came on to me first." He defended.
"Whatever, you heard what I said." I replied.
"Can't make any promises." He smirked as we get out of the car.
