The thing that Laura noticed the most when she got to England was how fucking cold it was, it wasn't even winter there. She could now understand why her ancestors wanted to move to Australia. Her mum hailed a cab from the airport and they stuffed there bags into the boot of the taxi it was kind of like playing Tetris but colder and more annoying. After driving for quite a while they finally reached the small fishing town of Robin Hood bay, in Yorkshire.

The town was beautiful the adorable cottages and buildings, the made the size of the town look quaint. The way the sun glisend off the waves making them look as if they were alive. The house where they were going to be living in was a little way away from the town, but not that far. It was neer the ocean with a big garden, filled with plants with an adorable swing looking towards the ocean.

When we got out of the cab, the salty smell of the ocean assaulted her sences it smelt so much different from the hot smell of seaweed and sand. It was an entirely different scent and it was a nice change.

Mum had already paid the cab driver and was getting our heavy bags out of the back of the car, "Laura help me haul these into the house"
"Ok, I'll be there on a sec"
She stopped staring at the scenery and walked towards where her mum was trying to lig the heavy luggage. Something made her turn around, wether it was a wisper of the wind or an invisible hand tapping her sholder. When she turned around Laura didn't know what to expect but nothing was there, only the ocean with its comforting waves and smell.

When they had finally got all of the luggage inside the house, she began to explore. It was a two storey house and had two four bedrooms, one for her mum, another for her and the other for mums friend Jannet and her partner who were out buying groceries at the time, they shared the biggest room. The house was amazing it was gorgeously decorated with nice furniture and adorable photos and artwork.

When she made saw her room it was so cool, it looked as if it had used to be an attic but had been remodeled and now had a cool double bed and loads of book shelves. She couldn't wait to fill them up with stuff! It also had a small wardrobe and a bed side table, so she guessed it was pretty bare but then she would soon fill it up with stuff.

After she had finnished taking in the room she dumped suitcase full of clothes on her bed, some of her books and other less important belongings were coming during the week by boat. Before they left they had had a garage sale and everrything that they hadn't sold that they didn't need was given to the Op shop down the road.

Unpacking her belongings was a tedious task and once she had done that she would need to help her mum unpack the rest of their stuff and that could take days.
