I woke up in the middle of the woods, curled up into a small ball of warmth. The snow as gone, I had no idea where I was. Small flashes of last night appeared in my mind. A boy, a wolf howling. An alpha. Whoever this alpha was, I needed to stay away from them.

But they might be able to help you

Or kill you. You're a loner, nobody wants to deal with a loner

I shook my head, slowly getting up and brushing the dirt off my clothes. I faintly heard someone yelling, and I stood still to hear better. Suddenly an explosion went off and I screeched, jumping up in terror. I raced away from the explosion, still hearing people scream.

As I was running I tripped over something, tumbling down a hill while still hearing the screaming. When I finally stopped tumbling I curled into a ball and whimpered, holding back tears. Oh god, oh god no this again, please no.

I looked up and everything around me was spinning, my heart pounding in my chest. It was getting harder and harder to breathe. I turned back to where the explosion was, the sound of police sirens arriving.

I looked forward and found a burnt-out, abandoned house. I ran towards it, pratically yanking the door off as I slammed it shut. I didn't need to be around police, I didn't need to be around loud noises, I didn't need to be around more death.

My heart slowed a bit, the pounding lessening. I looked around, this place looked familiar. There were plants growing through the floor and walls, everything looked charred like there was a fire. It smelled like death.

I walked around, my footsteps echoing throughout the house. It smelled like dog in here. But somehow that smelled familiar as well.

Why is everything so familiar?

I looked around, there was dried blood on a table, and in the corner of the room. There was death in that corner, people had died, but recently in that corner.

I walked towards the corner, and there was a comforting smell. It smelled like a mixture of vanilla and pine trees, it was weird, but I liked it.

Looking around, small whispers eched through my skull

"It's my fault, it's all my fault"

"You have to let her go"

"No!"

"Isaac you need to let her go"

"Seraphina!"

Who was Seraphina? And who's Isaac? The name Isaac sounded familiar, it felt important.

I ran my hands through my hair, pacing back and forth. Who was Seraphina? Did she die?And what about the other one, Isaac? He seemed important. I growled in frustration, biting my lip trying to concentrate harder. Trees, vanilla, Isaac. Trees, vanilla, Isaac,

"Isaac!"

I gasped, that voice was familiar...that was my voice! My voice!

My heart was racing, I started biting my tails nervously. That was my voice, but I was never here? I don't remember being here...do I? I don't know this place I don't know the area!

I felt like I was going to scream, so I did. I screamed as loud as I could, for as long as I could. I could feel the vibrations in the air, reverberating through the house and bouncing back at me. I had run out of breath, so I stopped for a moment. I could feel the sounds echoing back at me, and then there was silence.

I heard footsteps. I felt an array of emotions hurdle towards me like a bullet train. They were getting closer, so I bolted out of the house.

BAM!

I fell to the ground. There were too many emotions, I couldn't control them! Usually I could control it, juggle people's feelings, but these were too strong.

My vision blurred, I could practically hear my heart pounding in my chest. I struggled to get up, resorting to crawling with my hands. Black dots started clotting my vision, sleep sounded pretty good

"Seraphina?"

There was that smell again. Trees, and vanilla
