Goodbye and a new hello

2 weeks later

The day has finally arrived. Alexander sat inside a car and was on his way to the airport. He was a little bit nervous and hoped that Shikamaru would be there... Or that he even got his message. He sighed softly and looked out from the window. His life would take a large turn... He knew that...

When he arrived at the airport he looked around if he saw Shikamaru somewhere. The flight would take off soon so he didn't wait for him too long. A part of him knew that Shikamaru wouldn't come but he was still disappointed that he didn't... But he soon heard a voice which was very familiar.

-Did you wait for me little puppy?, Shikamaru asked with a smirk. Alexander's eyes widened and shook his head.

-O-of course not!, he denied but both of them knew that he did. Alexander didn't really know what he could say to him but took a deep breath.

-Well... Our relationship didn't work out very well did it?, Alexander began to say and sighed again.

-It was a big mess wasn't it?, Alexander said and Shikamaru just nodded. Alexander smiled a little bit and felt a little happy. He put his hand on Shikamaru's shoulder.

-But it was a good lesson I guess..., he paused for a moment before he continued.

-Then... Farewell Shikamaru.. I wish you... Good luck in your life.., Alexander said lowly and Shikamaru smiled. It wasn't often someone said that to him.

-Thanks. I wish the same for you..., they smiled at each other and Alexander moved his hand away from his shoulder. While Alexander and Shikamaru took farewell, a girl with pink hair said farewell to a boy with caramel skin and chocolate brown hair. They hugged each other and then waved. The boy than began to walk towards the portal while he accidentally bumped into Alexander. Alexander helped him up and smiled at him. Shikamaru watched them they turned around. When he did, the first thing he saw was pink hair moving in front of him and his eyes soon looked in a pair of turquoise eyes. Shikamaru's eyes widened when he saw the female's smile but she soon disappeared into the crowd. Shikamaru had a strange feeling from her... Like he had seen her somewhere... But he just shrugged and began to walk out from the airport. He was walking towards a car and then opened the door. He got inside and met Nick's eyes. Shikamaru smiled back slightly.

-Nick...

-Yes?

-Thank you for always sticking out with me...,Shikamaru suddenly said.

-It's no problem Shikamaru. I'm glad that I can help you, Nick smiled back and soon turned on the car. Shikamaru looked out from the window and smiled. He hoped that Alexander would have a better life now... But who knew? Alexander can't be someone's puppy forever... It was for the best that Shikamaru let him free... But who knows... Maybe they will meet each other again in few more years? Or maybe they won't? Well... That's another story...
