Someone saw the look on her face and decided to go after her. This someone was Stiles, and he had questions. He found Havoc sitting in the grass, looking up at the sky. It was a weird sight as he had not taken her for a cloud-gazer.

"Hello" Stiles said and sat down next to her. She turned her face to look at him

"Hey." She retorted. No stupid comment, no sass or sarcasm. Just a hey.

"So... Your friend who attacked the school killed Erik's parents?" Stiles asked. He pushed his fingers through the bright green grass. Havoc's lips became thin and she nodded.

"I don't know what I expected to be honest. He's a jerk." Havoc sighed. Stiles huffed.

"Didn't look like you thought he was a jerk when you kissed him" Stiles sounded quite amused. Havoc rolled her eyes but didn't say anything more.

"So uh... How did the two of you become... Friends?" Stiles asked after a little while.

"Well the first time I met him I could tell by his sarcastic undertones, rude comments and sheer lack of human decency that we would be good friends." Havoc answered sounding kind of nonchalant. Stiles laughed but then quieted down, trying to figure out how to ask the question he had wanted to ask her for a long time now.

"Are you manipulating me? Are you playing mind games?" Stiles blurted out. "I mean, you're rude and the bad guy but I still for some reason like you. How?"

Havoc looked at him and then grinned. "It's what I do best, isn't it? Manipulating things"

"But how" Stiles still quite didn't understand as he didn't think her answer was particularly good.

"It's charm I learned from the man who turned me. Makes people easier to convince." Havoc explained.

"So basically being in your presence is like being drugged?"

"Basically. Pretty neat, huh?" She fell back against the grass and stared up at the sky. "Man, that stupid disease made me soft. I have all these disgusting feelings now and I hate it" she muttered.

There was a loud thud when the door to the mansion a few meters away was slammed open. Hastily Havoc sat up, and turned around. Her hope was crushed when it was Erik walking out of that door with a blank expression on his face.

"Doesn't feel much different does it? Getting revenge?" Havoc asked him. Erik didn't even turn to look at her, just kept walking away. Gwen and Cornelia followed after him but Cornelia turned around to wave to Stiles and Havoc, who were still sitting in the grass.

"Bye, it was nice knowing you. Good luck with your town!" she called out with a happy tone. Stiles raised his hand and waved back but Havoc didn't. She got up from her place on the ground and began walking back into the mansion.

When she reached her living room she froze, and swallowed a lump in her throat. Not only were there blood splattered over the floor, but there were also a gray powder covering parts of the wooden floor.

Ashes. Seth's ashes.

Havoc turned around trying to not think of all the memories she and her now dead friend had shared, and almost ran straight into Stiles. He had followed her there to make sure she was okay because how strong she might have tried to seem he suspected she wasn't as strong as she had always thought.

"Oh god" she choked out. "They got blood on my couch."
