Gunner looks over all the pictures hanging on the walls in the kitchen and living room. Some of them he can tell are recent. Some he has to guess who the people are. One in particular catches his eye. It shows a girl, about twelve or thirteen, on a jet black horse holding a buckle. On either side of the horse are what he assumes are her parents, both with proud smiles.

As much as he wants to explore the house more, he keeps from going to the bed rooms. He does however walk down the hall. He glances over pictures of horses and little kids, but he stops short when he sees a picture that he feels he has seen before. It was one of the only pictures that was up to date in any sort of way. He stares at it for a long moment before it clicks, he took the picture.

It all makes sense now! It was two years ago not long after he had asked her about building his leggings, but before Colton accused him do having feelings for her. He was just about to walk away when he had stopped him.

"Would you take a picture for me?"

He quickly nodded and took the out stretched phone. She then went and stood by her brother and they held up the 'CB Leggings' sign while sitting atop two of his horses. While he was waiting for the camera to adjust just right he read the rest of the sign. 'Romans 15:13 May the God of hope grant you all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.'

He is snapped out of the memory as the door shuts and he hears boot clad feet walking through the house. As he leans against the end of the hall, that faces into the living room, she enters the living room from the kitchen. She smiles shyly at him and he feels his chest tighten as if someone was blowing a balloon up inside of him. No one has ever had this affect on him, especially not with as little as a smile. Just as quick as she was there she turns back and disappears again leaving him to his thoughts.

Caisson glances over the contents of the fridge and sighs. Nothing that she feels like cooking is there and with the snow there is no chance of getting it in town. A scuffling behind her makes her turn to see Gunner pulling out at chair at the table. "You know you are suppose to be resting."

"It gets so quiet and lonely in there by the fire."

She laughs. "I don't guess I notice."

He smiles softly at her and glances to the wall at the pictures. She follows his gaze and steps towards it. With a far away look in her eyes she takes the frame from the wall. "My brother and I when we were little."

"Y'all look a lot alike."

She looks at him and smiles. "Yeah we did then." Lord, don't let the tears fall, please.

After they finish eating nachos they sit in front of the fire, on opposite ends of the couch. The flames capture their interest as the crackling of the logs makes the only noise around. Gunner wonders what exactly she meant when she said 'we did then'. What about now? Something tells him that it had nothing to do with appearance.

Suddenly Caisson sits up and turns to look at him. "So there's no chance that you will be able to get to your truck soon, meaning we need rules around here."

He arches a brow. "Really rules? What kind of creep do you think I am?"

"I don't think you're a creep we just need to know what we expect so we don't kill each other." Her gaze moves to her hands in her lap and she mumbles, "More like me kill you."

Shaking his head he throws his hands up. "What the heck! What kind rules are we talking about?"

"First off never and I mean never mention rodeo. Second-"

"Never mention the rodeo? Rodeo is my life how am I suppose to talk to you if I don't talk about the rodeo?"

She ignores his comment and continues. "Second, no asking about my childhood. Third, you stay in the guest room and don't enter mine unless the house is burning down. Now is there anything you would like to add?"

He stands with a huff. "Yeah there's a lot I want to add! No babying me, you let me help with stuff around, and," he smirks a little. "You let me take you on a date before I leave."

The last one catches her off guard causing her eyes to go wide and her cheeks turn the brightest shade of red possible.

"I won't honor the first two if you don't agree to it."

She sighs and throws her hands up in surrender. "Fine, but no where fancy."

He holds his hand out for a handshake. "Deal." A grin spreads across his face. This is going to be fun!
