Hey guys! Here's a little chapter! (This chapter happened before they started dating.)
M'gann watched Connor try to feed some birds in the snow. He smiled at her and she smiled back. He was acting strange lately, and not as angry with her.
"How, do you get the birds?" Connor asked. He took another step towards the birds and they flew away.
"Here," M'gann said and put some more bird seed in his hand and laid them down on the ground, putting a trail of it to Connor's hands. The birds flocked towards him and ate the seed.
"There's something sweet and almost kind. But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined. And now he's dear and so I'm sure. I wonder why I didn't see it there before," M'gann said. The couple exchanged glances and M'gann went behind a tree. Connor smiled, but shook it off.
"She glanced this way, I thought I saw. And when we touched she didn't shudder at my paw. No, it can't be, I'll just ignore. But then she's never looked at me that way before," Connor said and smiled before following her. M'gann glanced to see him walking towards her.
"New and a bit alarming. Who'd have ever thought that this could be. True, that he's no Prince Charming. But there's something in him that I simply didn't see," M'gann said and threw a snow ball at Connor and hit him in the face. He chuckled and picked a huge one up. M'gann threw another one and Connor dropped his on his head. The others watched from a window inside.
"Well who'd a thought?" Kaldur asked.
"Well, bless my soul," Artemis said.
"Well, who'd have known?" Wally said.
"Well, who indeed?" Artemis asked.
"And who'd have guessed They'd come together on their own?" Kaldur asked.
"It's so peculiar," Artemis said.
"We'll wait and see," Dick said.
"A few days more. There may be something there that wasn't there before," They said together.
"You know perhaps there is something there that wasn't there before," Wally said.
"There may be something there that wasn't there before," Artemis said and the others nodded. M'gann and Connor just laughed as they continued their snowball fight.
