Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see. That I want and I'm needing, everything that we should be.
Connor looked at M'gann as he talked to her and Artemis about his Josephine, his new friend. M'gann fake a smile as she half listened to him talking.
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about, and she's got everything that I have to live without.
M'gann tried to imagine what Josephine looked like. Blonde hair.... Probably green eyes....
Drew talks to me, I laugh because it's just so funny. But I can't even see, anyone when he's with me.
He then moved on to talking about the time last week when Wally got caught in the door when they were on a mission. M'gann laughed as Connor tried to act out Wally's reaction.
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right. I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night.
M'gann watched as Josephine walked in and kissed Connor on the cheek. She saw him smile and she excused herself.

M'gann fell onto her bed and cried onto her pillow. She took a deep breath and looked at the picture of her and Connor on her nightstand.
Later that day....
Drew walks by me. Can't he tell that I can't breathe? And there he goes, so perfectly, the kind of flawless I wish I could be.
M'gann was baking and Connor came up and brushed her hair out of her face. She smiled and accidently poured too much milk into the batter. Gasping, she hurriedly tried to clean it up. Connor went to help when Josephine came in and took Connor's arm and they walked out of the room. He waved to her before they left.
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love. Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause....
M'gann let out a yelp as she stubbed her toes against the cabinets, making her lose balance sending her and all of the batter to the floor.

She cried silently as she tried to clean it up. Not only because of her toe... but because of Josephine... And Connor... Together. M'gann took a towel and cleaned it up before throwing the rest of batter away.
Over the next few weeks M'gann saw less and less of Josephine with Connor.
So I drive home alone, as I turn off the light. I'll put his picture down and maybe get some sleep tonight.
Connor stormed into M'gann's room one day and sat on her bed.

"Josephine broke up with me," Connor said and hugged M'gann. M'gann was surprised but hugged him back.

He cried into her shoulder as she hugged him tighter. M'gann felt his warm tears through her sweater.
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough, and he's all that I need to fall into.
Connor looked at M'gann and wiped his eyes. He slowly wrapped his hand around her neck.

He pulled her into a kiss. M'gann was surprised but wrapped her arms around his neck. His kiss was soft and warm. Connor pulled away and smiled at her before he walked out of her room, leaving her confused and in love..
