I stood there, shocked. What the heck?
Meliodas turned and explained what was going on.
"These are our friends," he said. I shook my head. "What?"
"These," he said slowly, "are. Our. Friends. Ya hear me now, old lady?"
I socked him. "Five drinks, now, keep them coming, Captain. Gil, what does he mean, we're friends?"
"Long story." He motioned to my writing pad. "Gonna take my order?"
