Chapter five

*time skip to the end of the day cuz I'm lazy like that*

I took a deep breath and started to unbutton my shirt. My skirt was already pulled off- in a few seconds I was only in a bra and panties.

I folded the clothes and set them to the side. I began to him for a few moments, but I heard the door open and close.

I turned around, and saw Ban staring at me with a really adorable facial expression. It was a crossover between pleasure and embarrassment.

I cocked a hip. "What?" I asked, biting my lip. Ban was shirtless and he had a bottle of vodka in his hands.

It looked interesting.

The vodka, I mean.

Okay, I lied. Ban looks AMAZING!

He blushed as I walked towards him. Why would he blush?

I grabbed the vodka out of his hands. "Thanks for the gift."

He stared at me, and I began to blush. Those eyes really were fixated on my body. Then, he decided he couldn't take it anymore.

He threw a blanket at me. "C-cover up!"

I grinned and pulled on a really short nightgown; it went to mid thigh. It was also lacy and silky.

"Better?" I asked.

He sighed, looking at the ceiling. "Its better than what you were wearing."

I rolled my eyes and looked over at him. A realization hit me. This room, after all, was Ban's.

"Ummmm... Ban?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't have a bed."

"...Oh."

"Yeeeaaahhh."

He pondered a moment, then grinned wickedly as he took a step towards me. "Hmm?" I asked, then looked at him warily.

He shoved me onto his bed, and began kissing my neck.

I laughed and he rolled off my body. "I've wanted to shove you onto my bed for a while now."

Before I could stop myself, I said bitterly, "Even when Elaine warmed your bed?"

Whoa.

I could hear the jealousy in my voice.

That was a dirty move.

Ban's eyes darkened. "Now, (Y/N)... That's none of your business."

I frowned. "Um, yeah, it is! While I was gone, you were getting it hard with my best friend."

He growled. "I wouldn't have fallen for her if you never left."

Tears sprung into my eyes. That hurt. "You shouldn't have been the reason I left."

And with that, I walked- more like ran- out of the room.

I began to sob by the time I got to King's door. He opened the door, a shocked look on his face. I fell into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

I didn't hear Ban run after me. He was, after all, the father of my child and my mate.

But the past doesn't matter now, I thought bitterly.

My daughter is dead and Ban fell for another woman.
