Beauty and the Beast {Merome AU}

Prolouge

     A long, long time ago, is when our story begins. And our story begins, with a prince. His name, was Prince Jerome Robert Aceti. He was a very kind prince. His father and mother ruled the land with kindness and soft hearts; they taught their son how to rule the same way. However, on the day of Jerome's coronation, a wicked sorceress cast a spell on the poor boy. She transformed him into a beast, or a bacca in this world. All the servants of the castle were also transformed by this spell, becoming inanimate objects such as clocks, candlesticks, and pots. Outraged by the sudden change, Jerome rampaged throughout the castle, scaring away those who were not altered by the curse. For the next century, the prince lived in solitary. Jerome was lost in his isolation. Everyday he was alone, besides the friends who had been cursed with him.

     Jerome just wanted one person to help him in his sorrow. His friends tried their best, but to no avail, he stayed depressed. Day in and day out, it was always the same. Hide in the castle, become more lonely, become more depressed. Soon, his depression turned to anger, anger at the world, and the sorceress who wronged him.

     A century passed, for some reason there was a knock at the castle's large entrance. Jerome wailed, he wanted someone to come, yes; when someone actually did, though, he feared they would fear him. With great caution, he walked towards the door. He hesitantly reached for the bronze handle. As the cold metal came in contact with his furry palm, he curled his fingers around the rod. With major awareness, he pulled the door open; then, he ran as quickly as he could to the shadows.

     Some may say, this is a legend, a myth. What are legends really? A legend is a story told over and over again, with each time it's told details change, but the story is still the same. And here is where our story actually starts. In the early morning light of a summer day. At the edge of a village with a young man by the name, of Mitchell Donnell Ralph Hughes.
