As morning came Saulian found himself looking at his chest, he should be dead and twice now, but the curse saved him once. Layxto was still asleep, but would soon wake, Saulian could only hope the curse would stay dormant for as long as he needed it too. "Layxto let us depart, we have a long day up ahead, the moons will not wait" Saulian said as he zapped Layxto. "By Azura, I can feel that in every part of me Saulian, what have I said about awakening me with magic" Layxto said as he touched his chest.

"I heard the stables has two horses for sell and fine ones at that, we need to head to the market before we leave" Saulian said with a large smile on his face. As the two made it to the market place Layxto saw a blacksmith hammer away at a small dagger, from the looks of it quicksilver and refined malachite. "Say Smith it that a Nordic Dagger you are crafting" Layxto said as he approached. "Indeed it is boy, I'm one of the few blacksmiths in all of High Rock who can forge in the old Nordic style" said the Blacksmith.

"That's quite the talent you have, I haven't seen an ancient Nordic weapon crafted this well in almost a century" Saulian said as he examined one of the Nordic swords. "How much for the dagger" Layxto said. "While it's fresh off the grindstone, 80 septims" said the blacksmith. Layxto dropped a small coin purse and grabbed the dagger. It even had the carving on it, the handel made out of leather. "I'm surprised you'd pick that up after the Daedric one I crafted for you" Saulian said. "Well you brandish two weapons so can I" Layxto said as he placed the dagger on his belt.

After that they stocked up on food and drinks for the trip, they made their way to the stables. There were two horses one was a pure black stallion and the other was a white with brown patches. "I'll take those two, I believe this is more than enough for them" Saulian said as he dropped two hefty coin purses. The stable worked smiled and gestures towards the steeds. Saulian hopped on the white with brown patches as Layxto took the other. With that they rode off towards Daggerfall, as they rode Saulian told Layxto of the adventure he had while he was gone for those six months. "Another plain of existence, like Oblivion" Layxto said.

"No it was much more like Nirn, just much stranger, almost devoid of the divines, except for one plain, the one he called the first plain" Saulian said. Layxto looked at Saulian in confusion as he spoke "The first Plain what in Oblivion is that". "The way he explained it was that Nirn is a Universe, a single plain out of thousands, and that Nirn is the 25th plain" Saulian said. "That's rather interesting Saulian, but why did you leave you were needed here" Layxto said.

"A much greater threat was present he needed to be stopped, I dearly regret not being able to help both of my people" Saulian said as noticed something off in the distance. It was a carriage that was over turned and on fire, the horse have various bite marks on it, there was a Breton that was almost gone most of his muscles where exposed.

Layxto jumped off his horse and ran over to the mans side. "By the nine, what could have done such a thing, this is beyond anything I've ever seen" Layxto said as he tried to see if the man was still alive. "I recognize those marks anywhere, vampirism is involved here" Saulian said as he drew dawnbreaker. Saulian looked around to see if they had left a trail, off to the east there was a small pile of vampire dust. "They went this way, one of them was mortally wounded, but still lives" Saulian said as he began to walk in the direction of the dust.

"So fire is the best way to deal with them right, I've never come across a vampire before" Layxto said as he drew both of his daggers. They followed the trail all the way to a small cottage, normal at first glance, but dark magic was at work here. "These vampires are no ordinary fledglings, magic of this caliber is far beyond new vampires" Saulian said as he tossed a rock towards the cottage and it crumble to ass a few feet away from the front door.

"How do we break this spell, perhaps hitting it with a lightning bolt will do" Layxto said as he created a bolt and shot it. Before Saulian could stop him Layxto was hit by his own spell as it bounced off the barrier. "I was going to stop you, but it was too late, this barrier as I said is dark magic which means it's very powerful" Saulian said as he helped Layxto up.

"That would have been most valued information brother, how do we break this magic" Layxto asked. "The only way I can think of is by using dark magic to make the barrier think we are of this vampiric cult" Saulian said as he sat down and began to chant in elvish. "The days I spend with you are never dull brother, today we slay theses vampires and send them to Molag Bal earlier than they thought" Layxto said.
