Allele walked through the door around 9AM. He froze in the doorway when he saw one of the twins standing there. Dressed in nothing but a long t-shirt, it came down to her knees. Her arms were folded across her stomach as she looked concerned. He knew it was Iris because she was looking right at him but not saying anything. Almost as if she didn't realize he was there; but Allele knew she had to hear him open the door just now, so he was a little creeped out.
"Iris?" He questioned, eyebrows furrowed.
Cilia shook her head slowly from side to side. She was up worried since Allele never came home. She was starting to think something really had happened to him. Allele's face went blank as he simply shut the door and began walking all over the house. He was in the same clothes from the night before and he needed to take a shower and change.
Cilia watched him doing irrelevant things like readjusting the curtains that were fine, or rearranging the furniture in a slightly different position, or bending down to pick up the tiniest dust particle on the floor.
"She left like an hour ago, to do her last consultation at the doctor with Gail...Iris I mean." Cilia said after a while.
Allele should have known it wasn't her. He did text her last night and let her know he was coming in the next day so she was aware of that. Without another word he began to walk toward the back, but was stopped by Cilia stepping in his way. Allele abruptly stopped, looking down at her with a blank face.
"Can we talk? Just for a second."
"I'm really not in the mood." He said back in the same low tone.
Cilia looked up at him, her bottom lip a dark shade of pink, outstretched. Her green, yellow and brown eyes almost like crystal. "Only for a second Allele. I just wanted to apologize for what I said to you last night. I didn't mean it."
"That's cool."
Cilia didn't say anything so he walked around her and into his room, softly shutting the door. Cilia sighed and went into her own room. She flopped down on the bed, not knowing what to do with herself. She was feeling a little pissed right now, but did she have the right to be? She was the one who went too far, but she also felt Allele was disrespectful as fuck and sometimes didn't give a fuck. He was the type that pushed you to go off on him.
She heard the shower turn on from across the hall and sighed, just laying in her bed.
