Ch.11 Cuddle me?

 Clarke slugged home. It was just a god awful day for her, and she was beyond exhausted. She just needed to cuddle someone and hug them for a few hours. A certain curly-haired man popped into her head immediately. She debated whether or not to just ask the other Blake to step.

In but she decided. 'Fuck it. I'm calling him! Please be free, please be free,' she chewed her bottom lip as the phone rang.

He picked up eventually. "Hey princess, what's up?" He asked groggily.

She tried not to whine as she asked but failed miserably. "Can you just come over? I had a shitty day, and I just need you here."

He sighed. "What would you do without me, huh?"

She closed her eyes. "Probably call Octavia." She muttered. "But it's not the same!"

He laughed. "Okay, love. I'll be there." Five minutes later, he opened the door to find Clarke asleep with her phone still to her ear and her purse still on. He took the phone out of her hand, placed it on the dresser and gently pulled her bag over her head. Then he pulled back the covers and got in, laying her against him.

Her eyes fluttered open, and she smiled as tears formed. "Ugh! Thanks, bell." She buried her face in his neck.

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked, rubbing his thumb assuringly over her shoulder.

She sighed. "I just had one bad thing after another happen all day, and I can't deal with this. I'm done. This is me tapping out." She tapped his chest.

He chuckled and kissed the top of her head. "Okay, just breathe. I'm here." He rubbed soft circles on her back before falling asleep himself. He woke up her hours later to find Clarke playing with their fingers laced together.

She knew she could always count on Bellamy to make her feel better. Just something about him being beside her made her think clearer and breathe easier. She loved this man.
