I like you, Mina.
It kept ringing inside my head. Ik was outside, by the bridge. I was wearing earphones, playing music.
His voice overlaps with the music. I didn't know how to react. After what he said, I couldn't bring myself to talk to him. We both immediately went to sleep, even if he forced himself to talk to me, I was too nervous to say a word.
"Hey!" A familiar voice called out beside my ear. I turned to see Jin, in his jogging outfit.
"What are you doing here?" I followed a question as I took off my earphones.
"I actually have some deals to do here, just taking a morning jog before I head to work. You? What're you doing so early in the morning." I sluggishly replied, "Contemplating."
Jin stopped completely as he seemed intrigued. "Why? About what?" I shook my head, "I prefer to keep it a secret." Jin nodded in understandment, "Okay."
"While contemplating, wanna jog with me?" Jin smiled. I gave a small smile and nodded. "Guess I could." We both jogged together, side by side.
After the hour of jogging, me and Jin stopped by his apartment. Jin wanted to treat me with breakfast in his apartment, I couldn't turn down the offer.
"Here, we are. Mi casa." Jin stated as he held his hands up high, twirling around slightly for fancy effects. His apartment was large, for an apartment.
"Let me change." Jin smiled as widely as he could before vanishing into his room. I walked around, looking at the furniture and flowery plants that was placed symetrically around the place.
I sat on his leathered couch. Just as the same as mine. I had work this afternoon. I forgot. It's still 7:45AM so it's not such a big deal in the noon.
Just gonna take a quick breakfast and leave. "I don't have much in my fridge, can I just make us quick ramen?" I nodded, "Anything would do, eh."
After a couple of minutes, Jin came out with two cups of ramen. I accepted the ramen and ate, immediately.
"Thank you for the meal." I smiled happily as it filled my hungry stomache. "I should give you clean clothes, wait here."
"Oh, It's alrigh-"
"No, I insist." Jin smiled respectively.
I closed my mouth. With a handsome face and attractive smile like his, I couldn't decline.
I like you, Mina.
The voice came out again. I gulped. We both had work today, this afternoon. "Shit." I cursed.
"What?" Jin looked at me as he held his baggy grey sweater. "I didn't have anything else smaller than what my size already has but this is what I had found." I smiled, "Thanks, that's good enough." I took the sweater from his hands and immediately changed from anywhere I could take my shirt off privately.
"Thanks for everything. I best be home now, I got work." Jin nodded and guided me to get a taxi. "Bye." Jin flashed his smile, again.
"Bye." I got in the cab and drove to my office. Thank god, it's Thursday. Where we don't have to wear out assigned uniforms.
I got inside my office, getting welcomed back by the people I missed working with, especially Maria.
"Good afternoon, Miss- Mrs. Jeon." I just smiled awkwardly to hear that name.
"You can call me Mina, Maria. We've been friends for a long time, now." I urgently hugged her tight. I missed her coffee and in-to snacks.
"W-We were?" Mina was surprised at my words. I pulled back and nodded with a sweet smile. "Thank you, Mrs- Mina." I giggled at her cute mistake.
