Jeon Jungkook's POV

I watched as Mina's Father threw his papers at me. I currently, looked down in apologies.

"I thought you were a good son!" Her Father retorted along with other disappointing words he mentioned when he first heard these news.

"My poor, little, Mina." Her Father looked at her, holding her hand softly.

"Father, I actually knew about.. this." Mina confessed. Her Fatherther gasped as his face reacted in disbelief.

"And you didn't tell me?" Her Father was astonished to hear these, it made his ears perk up in red.

He was about to slap her until I came in the way to protect her from the slap, "If you should punish anyone, it should be me. I promise, Father. That I am planning to break up with my girlfriend, I an starting to take interest in your daughter." I bit my lower lip, hoping he'd give a second chance.

"It doesn't stop that fact that my own daughter lied to me! Her own father!" I held Mina's shivering hand. She was shaking in fear. I was, too.

"Yes, but we promise not to lie from then on, I swear, we have learned our lesson." I bowed down in respect and plead.

"Milo, send me the divorce papers." Her Father demanded. I started to panic.

"Please. Give me a second chance, Father." I held his arm as I was on my knees. If word brought this up to my family who are on a vacation for the whole year, they'd outcast me.

"I am not your Father. I also have no intent to for what you have done." I knew the look on his face meant dead serious. I let go and looked down. He left without a word as Milo, his secretary, followed after.

"Jungkook.." Mina cupped her hands on my shoulders. She had asmall smile yet I felt down, "I knew it wasn't gonna work. Once, my Father decides on something, his choices are unstoppable."

"Don't make me feel horrible than I already am." I frowned even more. "I'm sorry." Mina muttered as she left me in the office. I looked at the floor, messed up my hair.

I stomped to my office, I didn't give a damn if they'd look at me, weirdly. I was frustrated. At myself. At everything I do. I am frustrated to why I do this and that.

"Hi, babe." So Hye smiled, "There was a ruckus in the office of Mr. Lee's. What happened?" I didn't reply as I looked for my cue to calm the fuck down. I needed that more than anything.

"Oh, did he finally said to divorce you and Mina?" She gasped as a wide smile formed on her lips. I wonder how she could be so happy in this situation which involves my utter whole career on line.

"I'm so happy for us, babe!" She attempted to hug me yet I shoved her off and down the floor.

"We're over." I had a grumpy ass look. "W-What?" So Hye asked to repeat as she tried standing up again from the floor.

"I'm here, panicking and shit. What do you do? You smile and focus on the point of just me and you. Have some care for others, okay?" I carelessly yelled out before I ran away from her.

I came back to the bar where Mingyu was. I sat down, expecting Mingyu to remember me but instead it was a small caramel brown bartender, serving me a cold drink.

"Where's Mingyu?" I asked, not wasting any other time. "Mingyu? Oh, his shift has ended like a few hours ago. Why, sir?" I examined him, he was smaller than Mingyu. Probably, the most smallest dude I have met.

"Nothing, what's your name?" The bartender held his name tag which I read as 'Lee Jihoon'.

"But call me, Woozi, for short." He flashed a cute smile. I smiled back.

"What would you like to order?" He asked as he was ready to enlist the things I'd ask for. I shook my head, "Never mind, instead. Tell Mingyu that I came by. My name's Jungkook, by the way." Woozi nodded.

I turned on my phone and called Mina. She, thankfully, answered. "Yeah?" She asked after picking it up.

"Where are you?" The first thing I asked. "Father sent me home with the divorce papers, he wants it passed by tomorrow or else. He's gonna remove every possible connections with the Jeon's."

"I'll be there, wait for me." I entered the car, fastened my pace to home.

I opened the door to see Mina holding a pen, I approached her and took the pen away from her. "I didn't want this." My heart spoke out through my mouth.

"Me neither but it must be for the best.." Mina looked a little sad, "The best? I'm definitely not happy with this." I proclaimed, "Why didn't you break up with her."

"I already did, a while ago. Please, don't do it." Mina sighed, "It's not like we're both in love." I shook my head, leaning closer to her, "I like you very much. Very, very much. Sometimes, I think of you at the most random times. I don't see it as a bother."

Mina looked surprised at my sudden confession. "I mean it." She giggled uncontrollably. The most cutest I've ever seen her.

"I'm sorry for laughing in a serious situation like this but you looked stupid, confessing." My look furrowed. "Are you laughing at me?"

She shook her head as she continued her nonstop giggles, "It's just what you said, is unbelieveable." She wiped a tear that formed from laughing too much.

"Okay, okay." Mina had a smile. It made me smile crookedly, as well. "But, what are you gonna do?" Mina tilted her head.

"I don't know but we'll just have to wait." Mina nodded, understanding in her ways as usual.

"I feel bad about this.. not doing what my Father said you know.." I held her hand without permission, it was warm. She can be the warmest when happy and the coldest when grumpy. Unique.

"You already did that after you signed a contract." I chuckled at her.

"I know. What's gonna happen to the contract, now?" I looked at her. "Rip it off." We both smiled, happily. "Is your acceptance, a yes to my confession?"

She shrugged which made me smirk. "Alright."
