"Babe, I'm home!" You chimed as you entered our shared apartment. I smiled and gave you a peck on the lips as a response. Pulling away, I stared at your eyes, obviously waiting for you to say something. "Hm? You're hungry right? I bought chicken for you." My smile slightly faltered as you said that. Did he forgot? I watched you as you made your way to the dining table and prepared the food for us. Maybe he's just teasing me or something? I walked over to the table and sat on the chair, still waiting for it to come out of your mouth, but an hour had already passed, we just talked about how stressed you are at work, how much paper works did you finish today, and how your co-worker blabbers about your other co-workers. But still you haven't said anything about it. We were already at the bedroom, you just took a shower, and so did I. We were ready to sleep, but I was still waiting for you to say it. But then you just kissed me goodnight and laid down on the bed. "Aghh! I'm so tired." You said as you wrapped the blanket around you. And a few minutes later, you're already asleep. I looked down at your beautiful sleeping form. A tear escaped my eyes as I caressed your face. "How could you forget? ...It's our first anniversary today..."
