"Do you want to come in?" I asked.

"I thought you'd be sick of me by now," Kenny let out a laugh.

"I've gone months without you.  You have some healing you need to help with," I pointed out.

"Fair enough," he agreed.

As we went inside, I continues to stare down the mysterious car.

Probably just a friend of mom's.

Kenny escorted me inside, but none of the lights were on.  I went upstairs to see if anyone was home, but the only light that was on was the one in my room.

What the hell?

Kenny chose to stay downstairs because I told him that I wouldn't be long.  I crept to my room slowly, holding my breath the entire time.

I opened the door, but as soon as I did I regretted all of it.  There sitting on my bed was my walking heartbreak.  The brunette with the blue eyes.

Matthew...

I hadn't seen since he left me.  I had a wave of hate and butterflies go through me.

"(Y/N)," he said just above a whisper, hugging me.

My hate went away, and butterflies were the only thing to consume me as I hugged him back until-

"You," Kenny growled.

Reality hit me like a fucking brick.  The hate came back.  The sorrow returned.  The abandonment.

"Kenny, good to see you again," Matthew smiled.

I stood there, confused, "You know each other?"

"Why do you think he's back?" Matthew grinned.  "He met me up there and caused some problems.  We were both sent back," he paused. "You didn't really think he came back for you, did you?"

I instantly turned to Kenny, "What is he talking about?

"It's because of him-"

"Listen, before he just spits out lies to you.  That's all he's going to do, you know?  He can barely pay to get you a burger at McDonald's.  He'd say anything to get in a girls pants," Matthew narrowed his eyes.

"You shut the fuck up," Kenny glared.

"Both of you, just shut up," I sighed.

They both instantly closed their mouths.

I looked to Matthew, "Even when I realized I couldn't trust you, I couldn't stop loving you.  Even when I realized that you didn't deserve me, I convinced myself that I deserved you.  Because I had given so much of myself, that it didn't seem fair to just walk away with nothing.  But it didn't matter what was fair.  It didn't matter what I deserved.  You just left.  You didn't care.  And it's true; Kenny can't afford much, but I know that he would work his ass off to give me the world."

Matthew gave me a sympathetic look, "(Y/N)... that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard.  Come back to me.  I've change-"

"That's it.  He needs to leave right now" Kenny interrupted.

"Why's that?" Matthew asked with a sly smirk.

"Because she is done with all your bullshit," Kenny snapped.

He took Matthew out of the house, and came back with a wave of relief.

"It's just me and you now," he smiled and hugged me.  "And I promise that I'll never hurt you again."

*A/N: Heyyyyyyyyyy, so I'm really sorry.  This took way too long to finish.  I know I said it would be done around Valentine's Day, and that was a lie.  I kind of got super fucking busy with school and relationships and I'm really sorry.  I'm also sorry for those of you that have been waiting so long that you have to restart the story.  I'll admit that the end is kind of blah, but I got some major writer's block, but it's over now.  I hope you enjoyed it through.  I've started on an Eric Cartman x Reader and a sneak peak of that is out.  I will give out a warning that it involves some pretty sensitive subjects, and if you read it and it offends you, feel free to yell at me.  But I hope you check that out and enjoy it.  Love you guys!*
