Third period was Chemistry.  The teacher made a crucial mistake in the experiment, and I ended on fire.  It wasn't long before I blacked out and woke up in the usual white waiting room.

"Hello Miss (L/N)," the usual receptionist greeted.

I gave her a nod.

"Will you be staying or going back?" she asked.

"I plan to go back," I replied.

"Okay,  we'll get you a room," she smiled.  "Oh, and you have a visitor requesting to see you."

My heart skipped a beat as I secretly hoped it was Kenny.

"Matthew Drale, again," she continued.

~Flashback~

Matthew died yesterday from food poisoning.  I hoped to see him at school the next day, but he wasn't there.  It had been almost a week since I talked to him about cheating.  I had accepted what he said and understood where he came from.

I love him too much to just let him go.

"Hey, have any of you guys seen Matthew?" I asked his friends.

They all looked at me questioningly, "Matthew died yesterday."

My whole world stopped at that moment.

He chose to stay.  He didn't even tell me.

I felt overwhelmed and ran out of the building. I felt a force collide with me and everything went black.

I woke up in the same old waiting room.

"Hello, Miss (L/N). Will you be staying or going?" the receptionist asked.

"I would like to return, i think," I sighed.

"Okay," she clicked her tongue and continued on her computer.

"Uh, hey, can I make a request to see someone?" I asked.

"Of course, who?" she asked.

"A Matthew Drale," I replied.

"Just give me a moment to call up to his room," she replied.

She picked up her phone and spoke cheerily, "Hello Mr. Drale.  You have a visitor...(Y/N) (L/N)...okay I'll let her know."

SHe hung up and looked back to me, "Your request has been denied."

"Okay, can I just have my room number," I choked back tears.

She went back to her computer and raddled off the room number.

The next couple of weeks went the same way.  I would request to see him, and every single time, I was denied.  Finally, I just gave up.  Shortly after I lost hope, my family moved us to South PArk.

~Present Day~

"No thank you," I declined.

"Alright, I'll have someone escort you to your room," she responded.
